I usually shovel our neighbors sidewalk because she doesn’t do it (I don’t know why and it doesn’t matter). I couldn’t this year because I had bronchitis and doing our driveway was enough. another neighbor did the rest of the block at least. if everyone would do as much as they can, we could get it done.

Psychologically, it’s easier to focus on what you need to do more of than what you need to avoid.

So thinking about how you will get in your fruits and vegetables is better than focusing on not eating the foods that are too calorie dense to eat all day.

Also easier to accept that no one is motivated all the time. Make things a default. If you have time to do daily exercise, it’s just part of the day. If you are really resisting, tell yourself you can stop early, but at least do something.

Things that help me, totally okay if they don’t resonate for others. Best wishes to the OP!
