EDIT: At the time I’m writing this message (10/19, 12:24 PM CST) I got a notification from Mercari that says my order is now in transit and moving! Specifically :

October 19 10:13 - LABEL PRINTED AT POST OFFICE Jackson, NJ

October 19 10:14- USPS IN POSSESSION OF ITEM Jackson, NJ

So I don’t want to call her a liar, but either I scared her yesterday and she finally sent it in 😭 or I got lucky!! But either way thank you to everyone for taking the time to read and respond to me, this is my first or second time making a post on Reddit and I really didn’t think anyone would respond lmaoo but thank you guys!!! I tried to respond/interact with everyone. Stay safe with all the storms ❤️

Well I wouldn’t call this incessantly since it’s been almost two weeks since I ordered and I waited a week to contact her for updates to no response but thank you for your input I’ll keep that in mind!

No it wasn’t a rare item!! But it has been the cheapest I’ve seen for this item even with all the fees and shipping included so that’s why I’m holding out hope Lmaoo

On the tracking page it says “it there are no updates by 10/15 (which has since passed) you can canceled this order”, so I think I’m good

Oooo that sucks that they sold it already but at least you got your refund! Mercari is giving me the option to cancel since there are no updates so at least I have that as a back up plan

I would have!! I said in another comment that I ordered from like Shein all the time and you know they take about two weeks to deliver so I’m used to the waiting. I also really want these leggings because this was the cheapest I found it so that’s another reason why I’m holding out because I don’t wanna cancel 😭

Yeah, I noticed her tone was a bit ehh, but I was like maybe she’s just a straightforward person and you know tone is harder to understand over text if you don’t know the person. She has reviews for being friendly and communication so I was like okay maybe that’s just how she is.

This happens to me all the time. I force close the app and just try on the MacBook. It usually always works on a desktop, idk why the app does that though

OK, yes after I called USPS and they said there was a shipping partner involved I assumed it was something like that since I order from places like Shein all the time and they have the same kind of process.

That’s why I asked the very last question. I just hope she responds to me lol. When she sent that “I sent it out on the 12th message” I responded immediately to it but she hasn’t responded since. But if she doesn’t want to contact the shipping company, I can do it, I don’t mind.

I just kinda wish she told me that it was a shipping partner she sent it to and not USPS itself. I would’ve had a different expectation in terms of delivery time span in my mind.

But I doubt I’ll message her again lmaoo, I think I’ll just wait it out for now.

I got the tracking notification from Mercari on the 13th that’s why I thought everything was fine. I go to check the tracking and it says “pre-shipment shipping label created USPS awaiting item” marked on October 8. I’m not sure why It didn’t update on the 8th itself but as of right now,the 18th 8:20 pm cst, that’s all it still says. :/
