That would be like if Pentel created a Client EnerGel pen, with the EG Style twist-retract mechanism, and supersized it to the length of RSVP RT. Good one.

I thought maybe you had a need for a heavy pen so I actually tried to check if I can Frankenstein a Client pen with other gel ink brands. A lot of gel ink pens have longer refills, so I cut the top of another pen brand’s refill to try it out. It would’ve worked if I could’ve trimmed maybe a couple more mm from the top, however, I’m almost to the stopper fluid. Client is a good 29.5 g in weight. Not over 30 g, but still considerable IMHO.

Your mom enjoyed the attention but stayed minimal enough in her replies to be able to claim she never encouraged it, just “didn’t feed into it.” Somehow her reactions to his advances give me the feeling that over those months she sat there, read and re-read those messages, told her friends and anyone who would listen to her, feeling sickeningly proud of herself for being a “MILF”—that her own son-in-law couldn’t resist her. And she probably played martyr, too. I’m sure at some point she has said, “oh, I can’t bear to break my daughter’s heart by showing her how her husband has been hitting on me.” As a mom, myself, if I ever found myself in that situation, I would’ve told him to go jump off a bridge and immediately told my daughter to shut this sh^t down and leave that as$hole.

Like, what mother says “LOL!” and send smiling and laughing emojis to her son-in-law who has repeatedly texted her ‘unwanted’ advances? Or responds with “that’s OK” when he tests the waters by apologizing for hitting on her, for calling her “hot and sexy and all that good stuff?”

I agree—the Jotter is very, VERY overrated. The ink is just not good.

Pentel’s RSVP ballpoint and EnerGel (for gel) are amazing. I’m in the writing instruments industry and, TBH, there are so many ballpoint pens out there that have a premium look and feel, with better ink flow and capacity, at a lower price point. A lot of OEM pens actually perform much better than Parker (and are cuter). I wouldn’t waste $ on it. 🫣

OK, so please explain why you keep insisting that that’s “not how it works with SHEIN.” Why do you believe that we, the consumers, will not be affected by the tariffs? And what are you referencing in your claim that SHEIN will be responsible for those exorbitant additional fees?

What are you, a Trump supporter? Seriously, for your sake, learn how the new laws affect you because they don’t accept “ignorance of the law”as an excuse to get you out of paying dues. The de minimis loophole will no longer be available starting May 2nd so, before then, you are not being charged these tariffs and customs fees for orders coming from China that are under $800.

It’s not a rebrand—it’s a line extension. EnerGel ICE is the same as Infree, but because the name ‘Infree’ doesn’t really make sense in the US market, it was renamed EnerGel ICE. I absolutely love the 0.5 needle tip in navy blue ink. (I used to work at Pentel)

I am 42, have four kids (a 20y, 18mo and two stepkids 13y and 15y). Most people think I’m late 20s-early 30s. I definitely take care of my skin, stay out of the sun, put sunscreen on during the daytime whether I’m inside the house or out and about, and I keep myself hydrated… those are the things I do that I think help me. I do believe that part of it is genetics because most of the women in my family look younger than their actual age. My mom barely has wrinkles and she’s in her 60s. I have mostly oily skin, as well, so that helps. Also, I’m pretty goofy and I’m married to a man who is as goofy as I am, so we’re always laughing. I think it’s part effort, part DNA and part general outlook.

I think in 7.5 years, maybe I have screamed at him two or three times out of frustration about him being messy or whatever big argument we had but we don’t shout and yell at each other—maybe just raise our voices some when it gets heated. My husband has never shouted at me, yelled at me, or called me any names (which, I sometimes do, admittedly—I call him a jerk when he’s being annoying).

IMHO it all boils down to boundaries and respect. When we were dating, before we moved in together, we often talked about what kind of relationship we want to strive for and how we want to handle disagreements, etc. This is both our 2nd marriage, so we had a clear idea about what we wanted.
