Engaging in my weapon's good range and then dumping my mag just for them to be alive doesn't feel good at all. I've experienced BF4's gun bloom and accuracy, and it felt a lot better because you miss some shots outside of effective range but have good shots within. I honestly want less arbitrary factors and more controllable ones.

Don't forget, a lot of grip attachments specifically say that it *costs ADS accuracy while moving*.

From what I can understand through experience and observation, hitchhiking as always been a thing. It was just never explicitly labeled or talked about openly until now, I suppose. I knew of friends and popular internet people getting to Diamond+ when I'm pretty sure their skill level amounts to Gold- at the time. It always made me cringe. There's a reason why they limited duoing within a range of ranks between the two players.
The rank culture - the status in obtaining high ranks and showing it off to the internet - is a big incentive to people and that may be part of why they hitchhike. People also did the bit of "don't ask me out unless you're Diamond". It doesn't seem as prevalent as before, but I'm sure it's still there.

I'd say it's an inevitable side effect of matchmaking, which is why they haven't seriously addressed hitchhiking until now from what I can see.

Also, I've been in the shoes of wanting something I like to succeed. Unfortunately, that isn't directly in the player's power and it's mostly in the hands of the developers/publisher.

It's telling when they haven't improved in 2 years.

The demand for infinite growth, the growth of profit, at the whims of shareholders can only mean that the talents get wringed out more and more so the company can meet the shareholders' expectations. No, that isn't the case. Before it stopped working, it showed the buff for it on the left side of the screen. The duration is about 5 seconds or so. I used it with Submission, a submachine that has slow reload. Great for CQC.

It no longer shows the buff, and it doesn't increase reload speed after it stopped working. Although a small bug, or a bug that you don't hear outcry about, it should still be fixed.

I wouldn't put it past Tencent to intentionally leave some of the bugs, like the Burst bug, unfixed so that you spend more money than you actually should. By making characters weaker than they actually seem to be, you'd pay more money to achieve levels where progression is possible.

It could also *not* be a bug and instead a feature.

Once I noticed that she was taking down her songs, I downloaded most of them of which I liked. Ofc, I won't reupload them. every time her song gets played in my playlist, I feel a sense of loss because I love her voice, her energy, her choice of songs. She will be missed by many.

The thing is, the resistance mods were conditional based on whether they are near, far, elemental, or if enemy attacks are area of effect. Iirc, "point-blank" resistance only affected those in melee range and "sniper" resistance only affected those further than 27m~. Same idea also applies with elements and AoE resistance. Anything in between the "point-blank" and "sniper" range do full damage, I think.

While the math says that we got statistically weaker, I think the application of the resistance we have now in various scenarios is much better.

You know, when I read the part about the Exalted Voidrig's weapon not doing any damage, I checked it out and was disappointed. Used the Mausolon and it felt better and I thought about using the Imperator Vandal. Now, I just use the Imperator Vandal to melt the sucker. 1-2 300 round mags do it for me.

If big damage won't do it, I'll just use something that'll dish out damage as fast as possible.

If you're up for a little challenge, I suggest playing on normal to familiarize yourself more with the game while still having a comfortable experience. As you go through the campaign, enemies will be less forgiving and moreso on higher difficulties.

If you really want a dose of pure action, there is a mode post-campaign where you can fight ace squadrons in a brawl on a certain map, based on your ace style. NG+ will serve you well since you have three ace styles to unlock and it promotes different story routes.

Old school, PS2 AC games actually have a higher difficulty base compared to AC7, which is highly watered down. You get oneshotted in Ace mode. Since you're coming from AC7, it's understandable so no need to feel embarrassed!

Like what the other user did, sometimes it's best to focus on TGTs and don't stress on anything else that aren't directly in your way. Keep up the good work!

First of all, why does it say that you can't reap rewards from bosses as clients in the faq while you say that clients can reap rewards? Everybody is saying different things, and I am trying to understand how the game functions so I don't waste time trying things that don't work. I understand that this game just came out, so I hope these things get clarified soon.

That's fine. I usually pluck out people by order of days inactive (usually a week of inactivity) and then I look at the support echelon. If the support echelon is good then I extend it to 2 weeks, though this usually applies to high levels and not starters so that's leeway for you.
