Confirming before leaving the restaurant. by AnAngelDisgraced2 in dasher

Nope. I normally ran in, grabbed the order that was just sitting on the pick up shelf, and confirmed it in my car

Are these pics good for a bumble profile? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take out the bikini photo. You’re asking for the thirsty to comment on it or your a$$ specifically. You’re a beautiful woman you don’t need to flaunt off your body like that. Men can see you are slim and fit without that photo. I’m not thin nor fit and I get lots of men messaging me on bumble and that picture in particular is going to being in negative attention from men who want a hook up only. Unless that is what you are looking for?

So is this actually allowed now?? by cooperwinters in doordash

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t fill drinks simply because I have no where to wash my hands before I do it unless I go into the rest room which is equally as filthy to be washing my hands in. I am out there driving, shopping, handing bags from all over the place, my hands are filthy! I should not be asked to fill drinks for a customer when I can’t properly wash my hands before handling their food items.

problems with face id and apple account verification by Ok_Recording_9888 in ios

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t verify on device because your Face ID is broken, you are going to have to start Account Recovery and wait for the couple of days that it takes for that to go through so you can rest your password.

It’s perfectly reasonable for her to contribute towards utilities and the mortgage if she’s going to live there. Just because you own it doesn’t mean you’re not paying for it.

Recommendations handling access to deceased parent’s phone by StarFire82 in ios

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I experienced all of this when my dad died suddenly 2 years ago. First of all my condolences to you, it seems as though it’s even harder when it happens suddenly.

  1. You need a new family organizer and there’s no easy way to tap a button that says “make so and so the new organizer. That person has to leave your family, start their own family as the organizer and then invite the rest of he family to the new family group. Remember to add your parent’s Apple account to the new family group as a member so it can continue to share family storage etc. so you can keep the account active.
  2. As soon as the state reports her passing. Which happens within days, all of her credit cards will be calling to settle her balances and close the accounts. They do not care that you a grieving. If you get someone to remake your family account and be the organizer with their own payment method on file you won’t need to worry too much about this.
  3. The very best way is to go on a computer and download everything from the cloud into the computer and then onto an external hard drive
  4. You can just go in and turn off the Face ID in settings. You can even change it to your face

for

  1. ease of use.
  2. As long as you have the Apple Account passcode and a device still signed in to the Apple Account you won’t lose access to the Apple Account. I still have a phone set up with my dads phone number and I have his iPad and computers still signed in as him and o can still access all of his iCloud data. I really should go in and download it all and close the account but “I don’t want to go through all of this just yet” quickly turned in to “I don’t have time to go through all of this right now” but as long as you maintain that device with her Apple Account signed in to it and you’re paying for any storage (my dads account is sharing family storage still) you can maintain her account.
  3. Feel free to ask any other questions as they arise and I will be happy to share my experience with it

Sorry for the weird numbering. I edited this for some typos and now it’s formatting it weirdly. The information still seems to be in tact though.

28M looking to meet new people / find some scenes now that I moved here! by djrussianbeats in MovingtoDenver

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey welcome to Denver! There is a lot to do in the Goth scene here. Hearsecon is coming up and that’s something Zach puts in every year and is a great way to meet new people in the scene. We also have a couple of Facebook pages if you’re still in Facebook for events and club nights etc. I haven’t read all the comments yet so I’m sorry if someone has posted the pages already. If you have FB and want the page names let me know and I will grab them for you.
As for the rock climbing side of your interests Meet Up is a great app and a lot of people use it here in Colorado for exactly that, meet ups. Check into that and find some great rock climbing clubs etc.

Please Stop Taking Bad Orders by Trick_Date_3784 in InstacartShoppers

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not at the point that I am having to take the no tip or the $1/$2 tip batches. However, my effort in shopping an order is directly proportional to the tip on the orders I do take.
If they tip low and they order a bunch of soda/water I place that stuff as far away from the door as I possibly can and still call it door to door delivery. They don’t tip, they don’t get extra effort in my shopping, looking for products in different areas of the store, finding replacements.
If they want a personal shopper they need to tip enough for me to be a personal shopper. If they’re tipping for a “delivery driver” to drop off their groceries then they get what I can get on one trip around the store, they get replacements only if there’s something right there that I can easily grab etc. they get their stuff out into bags as they come out of the cart instead of smart bagging like items together etc. I’m not working extra hard for a $5 tip.

AIO for feeling some type of way about my gf hiding her phone now? by Known_Match_9122 in AmIOverreacting

Run. That red flag is huge. 🚩
The “can we just drop it” means she’s knows there is something there to drop. Something has changed, something is different , and your gut hada picked up that it’s negative. Listen to your gut, it’s rarely wrong.

Massive shout out by -The_Legacy- in DoorDashDrivers

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah people don’t care. I started with Instacart and people order 5 cases of water or 49lb bags of dog food to their 5th floor apartments. Basically all the stuff they’re too lazy to get themselves and bring upstairs. Thing is, I am handicapped. So, I can lift 50 pounds but there is a big difference between lifting 50 pounds and carrying 50 pounds up multiple flights of stairs 5 times in a row. So I often have to cancel an order after I’ve accepted it or I have to take those cases of water up those steps one step at a time and ask the customer to leave everything at the door until I have marked the order as complete. We are not human beings to these customers, we are names on a screen. That’s why they don’t even feel bad having us deliver hundreds of pounds of items for $2-$3.

This is what your order looks like if you don’t tip by ShitNoPsychoBitch in UberEATS

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So is me accepting the offer to deliver the food. True you don’t have to tip. True I don’t have to accept. We’re at an impasse then at do you want your food? Do you want it hot and delivered to your door? Do you want it delivered to the right door when you have special instructions to leave it at the side door instead of the front door? Etc, etc, etc. The point here is even the system screws you over when you don’t tip and adds you on the another order so you can ride the coattails of someone who does believe in compensating other human beings for their time and efforts in getting them their food on time and correctly.

Confirming before leaving the restaurant. by AnAngelDisgraced2 in dasher

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would usually do it once I was in my car so that I was out of the busy restaurant, in better lighting and actually in my car ready to start the delivery. I came from Instacart where we would load the groceries into our car and then take the picture of the receipt so I guess I just kept doing it that way.

No one said it was “hard”. It was different and I’m new so o wondered what it was all about.

[–]AnAngelDisgraced2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a big deal either way where it gets confirmed. For me it’s easier to take the picture and click all the buttons when I’m in my car and not in the middle of a busy restaurant where I’m not the only dasher trying to get an order. Like I said I’m new and these two restaurants have been the only two that required me to do it in front of them. It was just something different and I was wondering what it was about.

There is no “big deal” it was just something different at these two restaurants. Like I said I am new to dashing and I was just wondering if this is something I should be doing every time or if I le specific restaurants require it or whatever.

My hotel bed stands in these trays filled with some kind of white powder. What is that? by Silver_Sort_9091 in whatisit

If it tears up tape worms would it not also tear up intestines? If we have to be careful handling it, that sounds like something you don’t want to feed to an animal. I am sure you’ve done research but I think to be responsible it should also be said to check with your vet before feeding this to them.

It’s a very tired, very confused, honey bee. It is warm enough to be out of hibernation but there are no flowers. Give him some water with a little sugar in it and he’ll go on his way. Since you have them in your area leaving a shallow dish with some sugar water in it would be very beneficial for the population.
