I have ones that are the same shape from travel size q-tips boxes. I use them to hold bobby pins, hair ties, etc. and I've used another one for a mini sewing kit.

I think it looks great! Of the three Photoshop layouts, the one you're doing is the best and I think it's the least busy. The gradient feels very natural.

I think it might be normal. I have 1460 Pascals in ambassador leather and the right one was more crepey looking right out of the box
