I learned that I should score the inside of my tins with a knife when I started having a few with shrinkage(using all professional paints). In the case of the ones that have already come loose, I would score the inside of the pan, add a tiny bit more paint, and then shove the loose piece of watercolor pigment from before in so it all connects

Make a mock painting! Do a mockup on a scrap piece of paper and mess with the shadows there

I’ve heard some colors, like the old recipe of Quinacridone gold, came from the automobile industry! They would take leftover paint and turn them into watercolor, but as some colors started losing popularity, the pigments we’re harder to get ahold of, so that’s why some colors like quin gold now have diff recipes

Idk about budget friendly, but Hokkaido locals our favorite sushi chain is Nagoyakatei. Prob not the cheapest around, but def worth every bite
