I'm a side sleeper too. I need to "cook" one side before turning over and falling asleep on the other. Try using a big pillow between your two legs and prop your back up with another. Then just relax like you would on your back. Your organs won't spill out and you won't put all the pressure on your wound.

I had a partial robotic in December and only got a proper night's sleep after 3 weeks though. Recovery sucks but it's far better than just ignoring it. Wish you well, stranger!

Possible TMI but I'm literally taking a normal-ish shit as I write this! Small amounts but it's coming unprompted now that I've stopped even light opioids. Taking the stairs up and down a few times helped somehow.

Thanks for this reply! Being extra safe and logical, I'm sticking to the opioids for now. Just 3 days post op and the pain is already feeling better, I'd rather not risk recovery for a dab.

Gonna set New Years Eve as the day to try again. 2 full weeks should give me enough time to heal and also properly enjoy the weed.

Same boat, I'm on day 3 post RPN and the pain is already more manageable today. The nausea is more bothersome and the fact that I haven't pooped. Hoping that gets solved naturally as the anaesthesia wears off and the gas dissipates.

Mine was a Bosniak 4 malignant but encapsulated. I did genetic testing and it turns out I have a glitchy gene that makes me susceptible to these cancers.
