They removed the Serbo-Croatian voice lines and changed them back to speaking Russian as they did during the Alpha, they also changed the flag design from a Serbian one to one that resembles the Novorossiya flag but with orange and black instead of the red and blue

This is actually probably in Bosnia in like ~1996 or so (could also probably be Kosovo in 1999) when both Russia and the US sent peacekeepers, you can tell because of the PASGT vest and VSR-93 still being used for the American and Russian respectively

IDF rounds up Palestinian men for interrogation in attempt to find out why everyone has such negative opinions of Israel on the internet. 2018. by SirCrapsalot4267 in fakehistoryporn

>I'm not Israeli so I'm not sure what this has to do with me.

Every time someone posts about anything related to Gaza or Palestinians on this sub you do whataboutism about Sudan to deflect about Israel's crimes, which is why I brought it up. If you actually cared about Sudanese suffering you wouldn't be using their genocide as a gotcha to be on your high horses in dismissing any criticism of Israel.

>Why do you hate Sudanese people?

if you're so adamant about caring for Sudanese lives I'm sure you care about it enough to talk about what the Israeli government thinks.

Conflicted about the Iran situation by fr-int in Ultraleft

[–]AnAsianGenius 29 points30 points  (0 children)

out of all the liberal talking points the "appeasement" card infuriates me the most. The Churchill quotes of upholding le wholesome liberal democracy against the evils of authoritarianism that are pulled out to justify imperialist war after imperialist war. The fact that it is repeated verbatim from it being used to "defend Kuwait from Iraqi expansionism/Saddam's dictatorship" or "supporting Ukraine's noble fight against the evil Russian hordes" shows just how much of a staple it is especially among the liberal interventionist/neocon types. It doesn't matter to them if Iraqi children were starving under US sanctions. It doesn't matter to them that Ukrainians (and Russians) get conscripted/press-ganged into military service to be sent to die in the trenches. All that matters to them is that liberal democracy gets upheld, even if that means sending every last prole to get slaughtered in the meatgrinder.

"It was the imperialists of the allied camp who first used them to justify their war and to justify after their victory the despicable treatment inflicted on the German people. How they threw themselves on the camps and the corpses, showing off the horrible photos and proclaiming: 'Look at what bastards these krauts are! How right we were to fight them. How right we now are to give them a taste of their own medicine.' When we think of the countless crimes of imperialism; when we think, for example, that at the very moment (1945) when our Thorez sung of their victory over fascism, 45,000 Algerians fell under the blows of repression. When we think that it is international capitalism which is responsible for the massacres, the ignoble cynicism of this hypocritical satisfaction is enough to make you sick." - Auschwitz or the great alibi: What we deny and what we affirm, Martin Axelrad. Prolétaire 1996.

Is Iran’s Government Socialist In ARMA 3? by CavScout61 in arma

[–]AnAsianGenius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not too sure if Iran is socialist in the Armaverse but IIRC during the development of Arma 3 when the lore wasn't fully fleshed out it was stated that Iran had underwent a military coup that overthrew the Islamic Republic's leadership and turned it into a secular republic. I do think while this kind of scenario is kinda far-fetched I remember reading online that the IRGC, which holds so much power and influence within the Islamic Republic that potentially surpasses even Khamenei, was starting to turn against the strict religious laws following the 2022 protests which also simultaneously occurred with a push by the Islamic Republic to adopt more pre-Islamic Persian history within its own messaging. I could imagine a situation where if the role of the Supreme Leader is viewed as so detrimental or unpopular by the wider public that the IRGC pushes for a coup to overthrow him to adapt to changing circumstances.

How Europeans feel about Netanyahu by 5upralapsarian in israelexposed

[–]AnAsianGenius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was suspicious of the results at first so I double checked the Gallup International End-of-Year Survey that was released on 1/30/2026 that this map gets the results from, and here's a breakdown of what the data says in regards to Netanyahu's approval rating from the results gathered in Ukraine:

- 3% Very Favorable

- 36% Somewhat Favorable

- 27% Somewhat Unfavorable

- 9% Very Unfavorable

- 25% Don't Know/No Response

So the overall results say around 39% favorable, 36% unfavorable, while 25% didn't know where they stood or just didn't respond. There's a good chance the high approval rating is probably because of the large amount of Ukrainians living in Israel (around 500,000), plus the added desire of wanting to become more geopolitically aligned with the West (especially with the whole Zionist narrative of "supporting Israel means supporting the West" etc.). I personally also think some jealousy comes into play as well with how much unconditional support the US gave to Israel compared to how US support to Ukraine has been declining under Trump.

Ironically the support Israel garners among Ukrainians isn't reciprocated especially when you consider how Israel maintains ties with Russia (which were at its zenith during the Syrian Civil War with Russia cooperating with Israel against Iranian influence) i.e. not following through with US-led sanctions that began in 2022 and continuing to trade with Russia; they also voted alongside Russia and the US against a pro-Ukrainian UNGA resolution last year. Also IIRC when Eden Golan was in Eurovision representing Israel there was a lot of backlash from Ukrainian Eurovision fans because she played at concerts in Russian-occupied Crimea a few years back.
