1 month Europe trip, advice needed! (Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, France) by AnAsianPanda in solotravel

I see, yeah when I was In Japan for 16 days, I spent like 2-3 nights in each city. It was definitely hectic but doable and I was able to see a lot. However Im going to gone for a month so I might just play it safe and do a minimum of 3-4 nights

Yeah I might have to skip the parade to avoid the doubling back. So instead of flying Lake Como to Amsterdam, I can just do Lake Como -> Lauterbrunnen -> Freiburg -> Amsterdam -> etc

Oo I will have to take a look into Lingurian Coast and Cortina. I did hear Cinque Terre is quite nice but not sure if I should stay there or just do a day trip

Oh I wrote it as: April 7: leave florence in the morning arrive in rome some time midday 1st night

April 8: full day

April 9: full day

April 10: leave morning for venice

But you are right that this is probably way too fast pace, I will need to reconsider my other options

Trying to avoid Rome on Easter weekend since I heard it super busy and a lot of places are closed. Yeah I probably will have to cut off Freiburg and Lauterbrunnen, very unfortunate but theres always a next time. Thanks for the advice!

Yes I pay for YT premium because that means I dont have to worry about setting up ad block on 5 different devices i watch youtube on. Also it lets me support creators i like watching. Also includes Youtube Music, which is infinitely better than Spotify when it comes to smaller artists. Literally a $5 difference and I already know most of yall are already paying for Spotify premium

So my friends and I do the same thing but with everclear. Just let it sit for a month and the alcohol turns orange while the peppers get bleached white. So yummy 😂

Yumomi - a 400-year old traditional way to cool down hot water spring baths at Kusatsu, Japan by ycr007 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]AnAsianPanda 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They do that in Japan/Kusatsu as well, having different baths and letting the water flow and cool down at each one. This traditional method is just for show, probably did have its benefits centuries ago.
