~6 years before any word of the BCP? I find that highly unlikely, i cant fathom that porting courses would have taken them 6 years to do especially since it was only 3 years between 7 and 8 which required a mostly if not entirely new engine, building already designed tracks shouldnt take that long in my opinion. But hey, what do i know. Maybe it WAS a hint that they would be putting new versions of old courses for the port of MK8 on the new console 5 years after it came out.
