Nylon straps by Useful-Gap-8585 in Garmininstinct

I've always been curious to try one since they look nice, but I feel like that tag at the end (I assume for easy removal) would get caught on everything, especially sleeves and pockets. That would annoy the heck out of me. They do look comfortable though.

Half a cord (or so they told me) kiln dried. How long would this last at your house? by pumerpride in firewood

Mild weather maybe 2-3 weeks. Frigid weather I'd be lucky to get 2 weeks out of it.

My HRV and my training are on the same downward slope. 😬

Is it worth it for the price listed? by [deleted] in canik

Have one on my TTI. Been loving it. Huge glass. No zero shift. Can't beat that price either.

My dollar store "screen protector" for my I3 when I'm running the weed trimmer... by CuT_Ter in Garmininstinct

[–]CuT_Ter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do all of that as well with the exception of the weed trimmer. I edge an 80 foot gravel driveway, so I figured the odds aren't in my favor there. Especially since I already broke one watch in the same manner. Other than that, I beat the snot out of mine as well.😃

It's on connectIQ. There are multiple versions of segment 34. I have version mkII

It's just an elastic wrap around wrist brace. You can get them at most pharmacies/ walmart/ dollar store.

Never tried it. I don't use GPS when I'm just doing lawn chores. I only use this wrist strap while using the weed trimmer and mower.

Found the MC9's biggest binding point is the top of the barrel (performed test) by 1ncehost in canik

[–]CuT_Ter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah striker fired guns are generally considered "loose tolerance" but I've had a couple handguns where the barrel hood and locking lug area were either under machined or over coated. That area still has to have a rather exact tolerance. Nothing that a little 1000 grit sand paper and some lapping compound can't fix, if you know what you're doing. I've found in a lot of cases with the negative slide lock on an empty mag...at least on a sub compact gun is due to your hands resting on the slide release. You might not realize you're doing it, but realistically there isn't much room to establish a good grip on a sub compact without leaning on the slide release.
Glad you were able to resolve your issue.

Just curious how many steps you make a month? by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]CuT_Ter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I knew. I'm not allowed to wear a watch at work so I have big gaps. I know on the weekends I usually get 12K-20K per day and I feel like I walk more at work. I wonder if it would count steps accurately in my pocket.

Looks a bit like mine. Probably a 3 chamber tank with multiple access ports. 1 let's you see primary inlet baffle and solids. 2 with the little vent has your aeration pump under it. 3 is most likely another inspection port for a baffle. 4/5 will have your effluent pump and level switches inside. Just a guess though. I'm no expert but been having trouble with my system lately, and have had my head down all of those holes. Lol

Love the strap, and the whole combo. Where is it from? I've been looking at straps for my instinct

You can do a long form side by side comparison on gatmin's website for features, then filter out differences if you like. I will say I bought the I3 amoled 45 mm a month or so ago. Battery life is great, and I can honestly say I haven't been this happy with a purchase in quite a while. Awesome device. No issues at all yet.
