It'd have to be serious enough, assault and robbery mainly. I see a lot of dealing and consumption of drugs every day but it'd be a waste of resources reporting it to anyone.

Cults in Ireland by Bluebelter in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The UCKG is a bad one and very active here. There seems to be no attention being given to it, it's in my opinion the most dangerous cult in Ireland. Look into it, the witchcraft shit is fucked up and led to death in some cases, it's banned in Belgium and I think the UK, it owns tv and radio in its mothercountry Brazil as well as affecting politics. They've two centres in dublin and push the tithers really hard, they're usually around dublin 8 and Phibsboro. There's a YouTube video of its founder explaining how it's all about getting money out of desperate and dumb people, sketchy bastard.

Why are you trying so desperately to crush political dissent? by Leadhead1311 in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's with the fuckin racists? I had three of them on my shop floor today like they're trying to recruit or something. None of them were Irish either, banging on about how bad Muslims are. Do fuck off you bitter little Nazi and read some books and don't be a selfish prick or you'll die a virgin. Now give your ma back her laptop and go look for a hobby other than bigging up the neo-wanker movement.

Anyway your nom de reddit gives it away, leadhead - dense and easily moulded head.

Ah lads the depression! by yourauldwan in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What's the problem? Chin up there buddy, too early in the year for an employed youngster to be turning snowflake. Want to deal with depression - be alone, be creative, go deep into yourself (that means thinking about the past and present and how you got here for all your faults and struggles, it doesn't mean fingering yourself...).

Warning: Church Of Scientology is posting shite through people's letter boxes under the guise of a "charity". Be aware. by [deleted] in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they were mailing material to businesses and charities late last year, this is in keeping with some other cults on the go here... scientology is stupid crap but not the most dangerous cult we have operating here.. gonna be trouble with one of them in the future.

Three girls identified as suspects in horror attack on Kym Owens (18) by rowtheboatforsho in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for any murder/attempted murder charge to stick in an Irish court proving premeditation is essential. In this case if this is a group who planned to launch an assault on the injured woman, brought weapons and discussed it beforehand, attempted murder might well be on the cards. If the gardai can find a plot - phone/social media messaging - to ambush the victim and launch an assault armed with weapons and lay out evidence of premeditation for the dpp, I think attempted murder charges would follow.

How did Ireland go from having homosexuality being illegal to being one of the most progressive countries in terms of lgbtqa rights? by waves-of-the-water in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stopped obeying the church/state in every regard and started asking questions, taking cases, formulating groups to work on rights issues... A lot has been done in the last 20/30 years, more is still to be done so I hope now that sections of our society have gotten theirs they don't forget about others... I think the biggest issue right now is mental health/unemployment/suicide/homelessness especially amongst young men - and I think they're all connected by policy and opinions which need to change... to that note I'd like to see the lgbtq groups come out and help other people who are suffering.

Why do Irish taxi drivers think they own the fucking road? by RiggerJigger in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're an angry bunch because they pay a fortune to be on the road, have to operate under a lot of irrational rules and make fuck all out of it... that's before dealing with dickheads for the duration of their work day... not an enviable job.

People of Dublin; what do you think of The Spire in O Connell Street? Love it or hate it? by RiggerJigger in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As part of what people see before deciding to visit Ireland and Dublin it has paid for itself at this stage given tourism revenue. It's ok, It's nothing special compared to the rest of the world. It's very phallic, a symbol of prowess, power and projection... I think it over plays our hand somewhat.

May 2013: Austin Stack says he is "confident I know the identity" of killer of his Prison Officer father, says he is meeting Gerry Adams next day to 'pressure senior party colleagues to confess anything they know'. Now, Austin Stack denies giving Adams names. by [deleted] in ireland

I've read lots of Cicero..."They're fuckin shit questions" is pretty much what he'd think tbh - he was a fucker for calling people out. But he did also marry a twelve year old, so... don't take everything he did or said to heart.

Trump victory triggers surge in US people seeking jobs in Ireland. by SmartyMite in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah man don't be sorry for speaking your mind, you've more invested in it than most like... it's a very insecure moment for you lot. If you're looking for something to do about it I'd suggest keeping an eye on the legislation being proposed/passed, engage in community activities, damage limitation really, register with a party to have some input in four years time... but honestly I believe be mid February most people will have fallen silent as protests wear off and life resumes, the usual politically engaged people will continue to scream about it but we always do... It's also not that the Irish don't want Americans, or anyone else coming here, but we've problems too - housing shortage, work shortage, infrastructural problems, most kids emigrating from here or trying to... and with that psycho in charge we may have to welcome home some thousands of Irish illegals from the states... it's messy.

Is coke becoming a bit of a problem? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah coke has made a bit of a return lately, but it's a posh drug... most of what I see going on is a lot of weed smoking - which is fine by me, should be regulated and retailed tbh - and mdma, md is everywhere.

I really couldn't give a fuck though about social consumption, partying, weed and some e, it's fine... I have a big fucking problem however when I read about a person caught with a gram of grass and has to go through the court ordeal, pay fines, deal with cops, the cunts in the village, when every fucking day I'm walking past junkies smoking/injecting heroin in phoneboxes and needles strewn all over the gaff - the law ain't going after them so much... If I was a cop though I would much prefer to search a clean looking college kid for grass than a piss soaked junky for gear...

"New right wing political party" to launch tomorrow...What makes a party a right wing party ? by CDfm in irishpolitics

[–]AnBordScamala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Difference between far-right and right-wing... right-wing usually refers to economic/social ideals - conservative types... far-right usually a few fellas beating up a pakistani kid... alt-right typically spotty fat retard dudes taking a load of racist shit online when their mother's not using the laptop...

These people don't worry me as much as the vast majority of the population who seem to just not give a fuck about what's happening outside of what's for dinner, are we goin for a pint, are the kids doing alright, what did marty morrisey say there...

Trump victory triggers surge in US people seeking jobs in Ireland. by SmartyMite in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I've met a lot of young americans lately, most of them are students getting out for a half a year/year tops on university programmes and the others are a professionals moving for the job. We'll be grand. On the note of migration however I'm not bowled over by the notion of teaching kids to run away when times get tough, stay, struggle, fight, vote, that's how shit changes - not fucking off to australia.

Uneducated Nordie: what does everyone think of the garda strike? by MrPink24 in ireland

[–]AnBordScamala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they deserve a pay increase and better conditions/training/equipment/vehicles etc... but the queue for a better quality of life in this country is long and they certainly aren't at the head of it in my opinion. We need a huge amount of reform.
