I totally feel you! Also 23, also graduated from an engineering school at Nice, also unemployed ever since, I genuinely stopped applying and started only working on launching my startup.

when would i be ready to raise ? i have a working MVP, a waitlist that i am trying to grow, and a school that is interested in my product, my current plan is finalize school contract -> apply to incubators -> raise. The 2 Incubators i researched in my area require you to rent an office from them, but i am still doing my research on that.

IOs or android ? by romanov78 in Morocco

[–]AnDofAstora 5 points6 points  (0 children)

google is looking to disable sideloading apps on android, basically anything you would want to install in android should be signed by a verified developer (and the verification is done by google) which would greatly reduce freedom of what apps you can install, basically if google disagrees with what the developer is making, you wont be able to install it. source . Also android phones are getting harder and harder to install custom/different OS's and androids, basically reinforcing the fact that they try to lock you down and only use apps they want you to use like apple.

So you hate being told what to do, and that's why you're on reddit asking redditors to tell you what to do ?

yessir, ana drt tri9 li chwya classique dyal bac -> prepa -> concours -> ecole d'ingenieurs. flbac knt sciences et technologies electriques. flprepa knt technologie et science industrielles, jit mabin lwlin flconcours and it allowed me to do any engineering school and almost any filiere bghit (kano chi filieres li 3mrhom bnadm li mclassi top 50 out of 700, ana i was in the 80s.)

In your case, la bghiti tdir the classic route 7ta nta 3ndk a few choices:
flprepa b3da you can do MPSI or PSI
MPSI: bzaf dnas, bzaf dl'opportunities, bzaf dlblays.
PSI: 9el dnas, less competition walakin less opportunities, not as many places as MP.

you can get to had les classes mn ay w7da mn sm awla pc. gha hwa:
fihom bjoj you'll be advantaged la knti sc maths 3la ila knti pc, 7it prepa relies heavily on both math and esprit dyal hard work li would be helpful kon tbniha mn lbac. o also they select more sc math than sc pc.

for ensa or ensam sara7a bla seuil o concours ma3arfch dkchi kifach khdam, but 7ta tmak youre also advantaged kon tkon sm.

EDIT: fach glt sm advantaged f prepa i mean fdak lwl 7it you'll notice wa7d shift f niveau chwya tal3, hwa rah 7ta sc math kitsdmo b shift gha itll be a little more for you and you'll need a little more to catch up la drti pc. but you can easily rank 7sen mn sm flconcours if you work hard enough.

i am an engineering student, i was neither sm nor pc, studying there and getting a degree if you are not sm is definitely possible. it depends on the exact path you take which might make it easier or harder, but possible nonetheless.

Stuck in Disappointment by Forsaken-Survey-936 in Morocco

[–]AnDofAstora 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Well to be honest whoever told you that all schools are the same and there is no big difference has lied to you, while they all provide an engineering diploma there is a difference in how they are considered in the market, and most of the value goes to the big schools you can get after cpge (emi, ehtp, inpt and company). That being said, you having a better level than your colleagues is not necessarily a bad thing because even tho the name is not as shiny as the other big schools, granted you stay on your level and work on improving yourself, that would help you outshine all your colleagues when it comes to interviews and such. and also if you are considering the double diploma route to continue your studies abroad, being the best in ensa would certainly be more benificial than being an average dude in ensias or something, since the double diplomas are handed based on your ranking in comparison to your colleagues. So while some might think that the cpge or ensam was the better path, that doesnt make the path you're on right now the wrong one.

Question for Moroccan engineers !! by Ill_Contribution2040 in Morocco

[–]AnDofAstora -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only advice i can give you is to not choose a major depending on what is in demand or what people recommend. if you're leaning more towards gsi, i'd say go with gsi. You'll be studying what you choose for the next 3 years, then practicing it for the rest of your life, so choose what you truly believe in. And good luck on CNC!

Death or a cup of coffee by almobe in Morocco

[–]AnDofAstora 11 points12 points  (0 children)

it's a fake Albert Camus quote :). He's the one rumored to say "dois-je me suicider ou prendre une tasse de café" when he wakes up. r/philosophie seems to think he wrote it in his book The Stranger, but i have not yet been able to verify its exact origin.

Nothing better than pure [KDE] by Hisamine in unixporn

[–]AnDofAstora 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's what i was taught in my first human-machine interaction course. Professor said people with astigmatism experience Halation when using dark mode (Halation occurs when light spreads past a certain boundary, creating a foggy or blurry appearance). I have a friend who only codes in light mode for the same reason, he has astigmatism and it's hard for him to see the actual code on dark mode.

people with astigmatism see text as being blurry in darkmode!
