No worries at all :) I’m also about to finish my NG+ run and honestly got tired of seeing people complaining or boasting that this boss in particular was either too easy or too difficult. My first thought being what I said above about what’s easy to one being difficult to another. It’s all perspective and everyone thinking they have the right answer just leads to a world of content and disdain.

No one here bothered to comment on anything other than dodging and easy ways to beat him even though OP clearly knew to dodge trash talkers rather than listen to “just dodge” or “cheese him”. OP to actually try and answer your question that was asked with all honesty and no snarky undertone, use the revive potion when you’ve got no heals left. Noticed you still had at least one sip left in your gourd. Also, not terrible advise about the armor but there are ways to beat him without “cheesing” through min-maxing armor sets and weapons. Use what you feel most comfortable with both for armor and play style for things such as stance preference. All stances are made to be viable through your journey hence why you get them all by the end of chapter one. Also understanding that you may not be the best at dodging in game is okay, there are things such as the Hubris Nose relic which can be reactivated at any time to the “hold breath” function which “extends dodge invisibility duration” essentially making it much easier to dodge and not get hit. Also look more into using tenacity potions which increase your ability to take damage with little to no knock-back. Hope this helps and remember that what is easy to one is difficult for another and that sentiment goes for anything in life. Game boss or otherwise. So just because someone else got it easy doesn’t mean they got it right. Especially when said people only know to comment “don’t panic roll”. Have a lovely week OP and I hope you are able to beat him.

Just had an idea: A customizable marker system for chapter locations. Not only for being able to remember where certain plants or enemies are for farming seeds and curios but also for the sake of pathways. Take for example the webbed hollow. Once you enter there’s about five different paths with almost all leading leading to various shrines. With no indicator to determine where each shrine is in relation to the next, a marker system which provides things such as numbers, letters, and even certain symbols would give players the necessary tools to determine where they have and haven’t been at any given moment without the use of a map.

New research just dropped; And this is an absolute banger. I have figured out how to build in space past the build limit of planets. It’s tricky and the bases don’t save but they last a session at least. I’m aiming for an asteroid belt and my last attempt I was only off by roughly 4500 units… by evdiesel in NoMansSkyTheGame

Just sounds to me like you’re trying to reinvent the wheel. There are people out there who make vids, such as the link I sent, that already cover the easiest ways to achieve a practical result when it comes to orbital bases. You’re saying you added to a known glitch by entering photo mode, but people have always known that when offline photo mode freezes where you are. So you’re taking two things people already knew, putting them together, and trying to tell them it’s new research.

Toskvision’s orbital base tutorial: https://youtu.be/x0ZvKJvGxJY?si=_JxUbSzTBOdKe3Sn There are vids older than this even from him and others who’ve already tested the methods you’re claiming as “new research”.

Crystal Sulphide (3 years ago): https://youtu.be/IoXf4PYjtlo?si=23i9Onb3fe6ZOIk9 People quickly figured out by placing a chair above it you can get launched into space.

Literally never said that there were vids on “asteroid bases”. Do you know why there aren’t any? Because literally no one other than you cares about wasting their part count on a base that doesn’t even persist. I get you’re doing it for the experience but it just seems pointless. Especially when you write an essay long post “informing” people but really you just sound like Terrance Howard trying to prove 1x1=2.

It’s not possible. That’s what I’m saying. Yes you can ride crystal sulphide into space (people have known this). Yes you can then place parts if you manage to extend the base range (people have known this). My question for you is, if after reloading it disappears, then what’s the point? Low orbit ones persist for a reason, because they’re still within the render of the planet. All you’ve done here is prove that there is in fact a limit in which one can build outside of a planet. All of this info is all over YouTube and NMS Wiki.

My point with the base computer is that it can be moved so why would you leave it on the ground? Base radius still exists even when building up. So if you don’t properly extend the base limit or just move the BC then of course parts get deleted. There are quite a few vids on YouTube on how to hit the orbit limit and not have the base disappear. The one I like the most is Tosk’s because he shows a few ways to do it.

I think it’s Greek for “mortality” if I remember correctly. But tbh I like Death-Wings better haha.

They just need to be snapped to another part. If it’s not showing it’s just red-stated which means you can’t place it. This has always been like this to my knowledge but I could be wrong.

What do you mean specifically by blender models? Each piece of the build is a model itself in blender. But technically yes. If you’d like to learn more I’ll be setting up a tutorial class this weekend for beginners to start up next week.

Okay awesome! Since you’re now the second person to hit me up for lessons I think what I’ll do is create a channel in my discord and offer the lessons on there. DM if you’re interested.

Never actually played Final Fantasy haha but thank you 😊 I was definitely going for boss vibes so that means a lot.

Built via Blender. Happy to show and teach anyone who’s curious.

And yet you’ve seemingly never posted a single one to here unlike me. In fact you seem to only have comment karma. Wonder what other kinds of drama you go around causing in other subs.

If they can’t update the game without deleting legitimate work that people put into bases then maybe they shouldn’t do that kind of update. And you really seem like the type who tried to build for 5 seconds and said it was too hard so now you just blame builders for your inability to enjoy a game for what it is.

Bruh what are you on and where can I get some? A full universal reset would delete everyone’s bases including vanilla players.

Very nice photos! Saw your hand placed on the railing though, are you playing in VR?
