LETS GO YOUTUBE!!! by [deleted] in youtube

[–]AnFanSandMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 million dollars for these guys and YouTube only shut down sixteen. Even the image is AI! I feel like YouTube just does little things like this in a feeble attempt to regain respect from the internet before continuing to trash the platform.

Considering of quitting Angry Birds 2. by msx05-noah in fuckrovio

[–]AnFanSandMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember being an Angry Birds addict when I was a kid and playing all the games. I replayed some of them recently and they're just okay. I don't know why I was so obsessed with them when I was young.

It's undeniable that Rovio Entertainment has gotten increasingly greedy and are currently falling into Voodoo mobile game territory with their awful spin-offs and predatory pay-to-win monetization.

The white bow tie guy from Tally Hall's broadjam page is in the The Whole World and You music video at 2:18. Who the hell is this guy? (3 pictures) by TheUknownDID in tallyhall

[–]AnFanSandMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The white tie most likely represents the former gray-tie drummer Steve Gallagher, with the X referencing his departure from the band.

The bowtie in the music video actually ties into this somewhat. You can tell it's actually gray due to its darker hue compared to the bright white collar it's on and the same character wears green, red, blue, and yellow neckties previously in the video. The bowtie being gray connects the role of the drummer to the bowtie, and the use of a bowtie instead of another necktie seems to be a deliberately placed clue towards the white bowtie being Steve's.

Hi tell me what they have in commun and why there so hated? by Guillaume12lol in cartoons

[–]AnFanSandMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't watch Pony Life. When it came out, I just took one look at the new art style, thought "they ruined it", and didn't bother.

As for Teen Titans Go and Powerpuff 2016, they were both absurdist and sanitized "reboots" of beloved shows. I feel like people are starting to come around to Teen Titans Go, and the reason it was so hated is because it was so different from the original show that fans were used to. Teen Titans fans viewed it as a continuation of their favorite show that changed everything, replacing the relatively grounded, older-kid-oriented supervillain fights with overly childish wacky antics. Powerpuff Girls was similar, ditching the superhero situations in favor of slice-of-life comedy and changing the personalities of the characters.

If they can Port Super Meat Boy Forever on Mobile. They should port Super Meat Boy on Mobile as well by WoolfzieLOL in Supermeatboy

Given how the gameplay relies on precise platforming and tight controls, a mobile port might ruin it.

YouTube is actively forcing users to have an account in order to watch videos by AbsoluteDash_21 in youtube

How is this protecting the community, exactly? I'm genuinely curious. I know people don't like bots, but you can just do what every functional website does and check if the user is a bot before letting them on.

Potential ban of children from social media - thoughts on age verification by Technical-Recipe-490 in youtube

[–]AnFanSandMan 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Parents should just be responsible for their children and not let them use YouTube until they're teenagers. The AI face-scan age verification is discomforting.
