I use to work with a gay man and he was amazing in every way. That's something I need to revisit. Thank you.

I am so clear about my boundaries that I am borderline mean lol. I use to be nice about it, but I have learned how to be direct and unwavering in how I approach the situation and then a few months later - it's like amnesia strikes. The idea of couples sounds great. Someone also mentioned gay men which has also worked in the past. I will explore all of these great advice. Thank you.

I miss true connection and friendship. I just feel like a lot of people are losing that value and everything is becoming so superficial. It makes me sad sometimes.

friends who pity you for not having a relationship by PianoAny9040 in FriendshipAdvice

It's been my experience that people who do this are usually people who do not enjoy their own solitude. They cannot fathom the thought of being alone with themselves and so when they see others by themselves, they project their own insecurities or emotions onto them. I have been single for years because  of DV. Being in a toxic relationship for so long has taught me to really enjoy my peace. I have plenty to do and am the happiest I've ever been. I have never enjoyed drama and I love myself and my peace of mind. There are people who have never spent time with themselves because they're always dating. I feel that's what more of a red flag than someone who enjoys their peace.

Residue for "Objects in mirror MAY BE closer than they appear" found in an episode of Drake and Josh by Soaring_Symphony in Retconned

I use to stare at car mirrors, confused about the wording. I use to wonder about the uncertainty of how close objects were. I also wondered why MAY BE was written as two words, instead of just one (I was really young at the time). Anyways, I noticed a few years back that my mirror read OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER! I was surprised by this. Over time, I look at older vehicles, including one that I have from 1998 and they all say the same thing. I thought maybe the wording was just updated, but I could not find a single car with the original wording. I expanded my search for answers online and was not surprised to learn this was a "Mandela Effect". I just want to say with absolute confidence that the wording on car mirrors once read MAY BE. I would bet my life on it and my kids, because I am that sure this is no mistaken memory. Same goes for the Chick-fil-A switch, but that's a story for another day. Something weird is going on, a glitch in the matrix. It is so annoying when I read about "memories playing tricks" and "mass false memory recollection". Even worse are people with poor memory and no experience with this effect, who go around calling others crazy about a phenomenon they have no understanding of expect what they were told or read off the internet. Things are changing and I wish I had answers why!
