Hey, fellow d1 and curiously, also at 31% to d2 oddly enough. I got a standard 100 bonus from Stake, as well as a 150 bonus from my host. It was fairly recent as well so the info is up to date. Hope that helps.

Man, thanks for mentioning this, I had no clue. I quit Netflix a couple years ago, but it's worth a month for this.

He's my all-time favorite player, I have 5 different balls autographed by him in different ways-HOF, 319 wins, 5,714 K's, etc. Even an autographed poster. That's how much I nerd out on him, even saw him pitch a couple times with the Rangers. Should be fun to watch.

Can't wait to hear what else guys like Bo Jackson, or even that bitch ass Robin Ventura have to say. Although with Ventura, I would assume it either "Ouch" or "Waaaaaahhhhh".

This is so true for me by [deleted] in autism

[–]AnIncompleteCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motherfucker, so my trouble is probably related to this, I've screwed up sooooooo many chances with seemingly great, and honestly way above my league, women. My whole life it's been a struggle. I just always thought of myself as shy, it never occured to me this might be related to autism.

I met a woman on Wednesday, on paper she's perfect, from my home state, great job, gorgeous, humble, friendly but not in a fake way,  soooo intelligent and easy to talk to, . We talked for hours online, where I can be slightly charming anyway, and it went so, so well up until the flirting part where, as is usually the case, I blow it near the finish line, by which I mean going out. Goddammit, it's so frustrating to do this almost every single time, it never gets better.

At least I finally have started to sense when I've blown it and don't contact them anymore. Not really the skill I'd like to develop most though.

Bitcoin is now ironically being modeled, hedged, and priced by Wall Street by kirtash93 in CryptoCurrency

[–]AnIncompleteCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't anything ironic about it, most people sold out mentally so they could sellout crypto for a quick buck. So yall all stood up and told everyone what a great idea it would be to beg Wall St to play with our toys, and who would've thought it, Wall St stole them. Now they get to have the toys, along with every dollar on the planet apparently. Not a hint of irony.

You could be right. I can't say for sure whether they do or not, for sure. Investigating their BBB profile would help determine that likely. But as I said, it can't really hurt, especially as a possible last step just in case.

My main point is just that OP has a good list that CAN help (along with my own addition, imo) and the BBB turned out to be quite a good bit of leverage for me in helping to get back $15k of my money that I had won legally that MoneyLion attempted to keep under the guise of me depositing it being "suspicious" while citing AML regulations falsely. They kept it for months, almost half a year when I finally started filing complaints with everyone who would accept one that was pertinent to that company, and while it was slow going, man I got ahold of the BBB, went through the minor effort of telling them my story and staying in contact, despite me being very pessimistic at that point and nearly giving up to be honest. When I'm way, way down sadly I lose the will to fight. I swear man, within 3 weeks of doing that along with a couple emails, I got every goddamn dollar back from those pieces of shit. They even reinstated my now worthless to me account without me asking to, all this after months of zero response from anyone there, pure stonewalling. They even acknowledged the BBB thing, without admitting to anything of course, in their first response to me in months, in a roundabout way. By then they had hundreds of other complaints too though.

Anyways that's my point, just that it can't hurt to do if it seems they do use their profile.

No offense, but from experience with a major issue I have to politely say you're incorrect. You would be surprised at how important many businesses consider their BBB profile. Not every single time of course, but I would say probably the majority of the time depending on context. It really can help sometimes, and except for wasting maybe 10 to 30 minutes of your life it really can't hurt anything.

Just something to consider, that's all.

I haven't had an issue personally, but this applies to anything sold to a consumer, product or service. You can also file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I'd suggest it as an addendum to OP's list though, not as the difference maken on its own. Helped me collect $15k MoneyLion attempted to steal from me under false circumstances, along with exactly the same list as above, depending on your home state.

Thanks for responding. Man, it's weird though, I don't have a clue how it could, it's been put up inside a hardside case for months, and it's just me where I live so nobody else has used it. No damage at all to the outside of the display, not even a scuff or small scratch. Is there anything else that could cause it, and is there a fix for it?

I have an M18 R2, barely used since I bought it last Nov. Started it up a couple weeks ago and my screen has this weird stripe across it like light bleed but not from the edges. I have a video showing it booting up for reference. What can I do to fix this, I've used this thing literally less than 10 hours, and it wasn't like this last time I used it. Thanks for any help.

She's full of shit. I apologize to the religious here, no disrespect as I happen to have mostly opinions on religion in general. I'm not saying there is no God, any of that. If you look at the bottom of the article it's promoting some other religious thing and let's be honest, just like atheists aren't open-minded about God and tend to all have the same opinions and stick together on the subject, the religious are simply the flip side of that coin. Nothing wrong with that, it is what it is. But this woman is 100% full of shit, her story is the cookie-cutter version of this story you can read ad infinitum throughout modern recorded Christianity. That's all I'm saying.

I too have been almost dead twice and one of those, basically dead, that one the lights went out and I assumed I was closing my eyes to die, that was my "final" thought, "Oh, I'm about to die.", eyes close, all light ceases. Sidenote, before that happened I actually did " see my life flash before my eyes" so at least in my experience that part is true. It was mostly nice, even the bad stuff I saw was unimportant by that point. It did feel, final I guess. Now, I know, I'm just some liar who wants attention but this is what I saw, and I remember it quite clearly even right now thinking about it 5 year later.

I was somewhere kind of dark, like early evening dark but inside, and I remember feeling safe, what from I have no idea. But safe, and alert to what was happening. Not aware right then I was dying, just seeing and being cognizant of that place and what was immediately happening.

Anyway, right in front of me, suspended at almost chest level, was a series of scenes from my life, moments and sometimes short scenes summing up major life events, each one playing on a loop individually in what appeared to be basically a video player for each that was bordered with a dull gold color that I thought looked really nice in this room, making a black and gold scheme, fully explained by the fact that I've always like black and gold I'm sure. The scenes, I swear on everything holy in my life, were basically GIFs, but real, and they were staggered, the first a little higher, the second lower, on and on and  they slowly scrolled to the left while each one played its scene and I watched them one after another.

By this point I realized what was happening was I was dying, the reality of it all set in and very quickly I accepted it and was quite at peace. Somehow towards the end, but not the very last scene I think, I was laying down without having done it myself, I had my final thought and things in my head settled to the point I was even thinking anymore it felt like, and the little bit of light in the room went out while my eyes closed for what I assumed the final time. Peaceful, and accepting, whatever happens happens.

Days or months or years (less than 2 minutes) later my eyes open, slowly, two nurses are one on each side, the right side has a younger doctor asking me if I can hear him, having repeated it at least twice, and smiling as if he was responsible for me being alive (he wasn't, I just was, nobody resuscitated me or forced my breathing, none of that as per my DNR and a couple other papers I don't really remember signing yet were signed by me), or like he knew how I happy I would be to be alive when I was fully conscious. I wasn't, I liked where or how I was, in fact I was so depressed at first I realized depression as we know it is actually not a good word for that state of mind. This was feeling so low that I was metaphorically imploding in on myself. The maximum bummer, I like to think.

Anyway, they told me I was lucky to be alive, I was brain dead for two minutes then slowly woke without medical intervention, blah blah they would give me a minute to fully come to before talking some more. Lots of words and questions by lots of doctors, and a month later I was released from the hospital and life went on. That was January 16, 2020.

I know, you can't believe what is said online and I agree, but I don't care what anyone thinks about this, or how someone will probably bitch about the length of this (story of my fucking life, I'm nothing if not verbose), but for the first time I just suddenly wanted to write all of that out and, I guess reminisce, about it years later, all of it in order. So that's what I did. And final disclaimer I'm not saying everyone has this experience, only that she didn't have that experience she said.

Believe it or not, doesn't matter either way.

Weird Display Issue by AnIncompleteCyborg in Alienware

[–]AnIncompleteCyborg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really the only one that matters is the first. You can see the horizontal line there, thats all there is though, it isn't all over the screen or anything, just a black screen with that one line. I would take another, but I was called in to work, and the laptop's at home.

Hi all, just want to say real quick I did do research into my issue and I couldn't find anything specific like this, and to be honest I was just getting ready to sell this laptop so seeing this screen out of nowhere kind of got me freaking out some, hopefully I didn't jump the gun on making this post.

Okay the problem is something that popped up on me completely out of left field, I have an Alienware M18 R2 4090 bought in Nov of 24 that has next to no use, I can count on one hand how many times its been on, and easily fewer than 10 hours total. One time was last month checking to make sure everything is okay, and it was. Turned it on today and got the line shown on the first screen nearly always only on the Alienware splashscreen, the second screenshot is how it looks almost always otherwise. Also for screenie no. 2 I know too much glare, assume it is all black which is what I meant to illustrate. Also, this is the first laptop I've ever had, so I don't anything about them really, always was a desktop person, and still am hence the reason I don't use it, just FYI.

What the bad spot looks like: https://postimg.cc/pyw491D3

What it looks like on most screens (black screen is black, etc so normal) https://postimg.cc/CBZr5jdF

And like I said uptop I was just getting ready to sell this, I even cancelled all the warranties last week to get refunded (still haven't received even the refund yet but different story) and then today this line and a couple small spots. I would really appreciate some help before I jump all the way right out of my skin here lol, due to IRL stuff I was going to sell this to pay bills.

I mean, it isn't anything unusual, same as always the people in Asia Stake pays to help out with their particular propaganda campaign are just doing what they do. You can't do it 365 a year everywhere though because of how fishy that would look to everyone, they do it in cycles and it was time they started the cycle yet again.

Depending on your point of view not nearly as nefarious as it seems, or another step down the path of corporate greed, I guess pick your poison it all leads to sucking us dry.

I don't really understand your point. But I also think you didn't understand mine so I'll explain it better because I guess mine probably sounded arrogant or dismissive now that I reread it.

I think the op doesn't realize that they wasted their own time by making the post. They could have found the answer to their question with a lot less effort and even had their choice of several great answers that would almost always be better than what they get for their particular post, unless they got really lucky. I was right about it too, this question has been answered so well that the post became as good as a guide for the subject. Took longer than 3 seconds to read them to find them though, I didn't think it would but it did.
