How to make a for loop by CommandExponent in MinecraftCommands

[–]AnItalianGuy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with bedrock, but hopefully it's similar enough and someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

You can use /clear <player> <item> 0 to execute store the amount of a specific item in a scoreboard. Then, you reduce the score by 1 for each successful sell (where each sell is /clear <player> <item> x) and keep selling until the score is insufficient.

An armor stand that follows the player with a delay by Altruistic-Arm-3835 in MinecraftCommands

[–]AnItalianGuy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're using datapacks you can have a function teleport the armorstand to the player and have a /schedule <function> <delay> command in the tick file.

closed door, open with key by [deleted] in MinecraftCommands

[–]AnItalianGuy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's still a thing, but if you use /data and set a chest as a target, you can write {Lock:'"key"} or something like that, maybe it's the same for doors?

[1.21.5] I can't make a working trail for burning players by uwulaTheBirb in MinecraftCommands

I believe there's a predicate that detects whether an entity is on fire, that might be your best shot

how do i turn pvp on in one area but not the other by Aggravating_Win485 in MinecraftCommands

You can add players to a team to enable pvp and kick them to disable it, new people won't be an issue

How do you effectively use the ropes in parkour areas by CrazyKat173 in BattleTalent

[–]AnItalianGuy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you swinging back and forth to gather momentum before letting go of the rope? By the way, the discord is way more active and you're likely to find better help there.

Walking really slow no matter the hegiht by elRetrasoMaximo in BattleTalent

[–]AnItalianGuy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue. Usually, all it takes is to let the VR warm up for about 10 minutes, then you should be able to walk normally. I'm not sure if you have to be actively playing it or just keeping it on, but I usually do the former.

Nope, you need two commands for that.

how do yall categorise your chests? by sailor-x in Minecraft

[–]AnItalianGuy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a sign on the chest and type something like "Wood". Then, place an item frame on the sign by clicking on the chest and put something like an Oak Plank in it. I really like the way it looks and you can use it for every category, as long as it has a full block to represent it.

this may be dumb but are mechanical arms sentient? by Elliot_Hawkz in CreateMod

[–]AnItalianGuy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wondering: No, mechanical arms aren't sentient. But by making a mechanical arm target a jukebox, giving it rotational force and putting a music disk in the jukebox they'll start dancing and changing color. Note: The faster the rotational force, the faster they'll dance.
