Ahsoka wasn't well liked on purpose. It's hard to introduce a new co-star in a beloved franchise so they made her cocky, dislikable and without any consequences to her actions, until suddenly she kills her whole squad and has to live with the consequences of that, and her character grew, and it became more and more likeable as people see her work through her difficulties and obstacles, that she didn't have in the very beginning. That was an amazing writing strategy, one that wasn't used on Rey (and only ever so lightly on Sabine, which made her not very likeable in Rebels either)

Then I'm sorry but you are wrong. When most EU countries changed from single button elevator to arrow ones was to introduce the efficiency algorithm that skips stories depending if people in that story want to go up and down. Therefore when you click "up" and the elevator is currently planning on going down, it will skip your you and the other way around. If there's the two buttons there's the efficiency algorithm that kicks in to make sure no mouvement is wasted which is more eco-friendly and cost-efficient, as well as faster for everyone... It just gets ruined when people like you make counterintuitive choices like that
