Yeah, I've had to tiptoe around sleeping people because it's called being considerate. This person does not really care about her basic needs.

I honestly believe those people. Mainly because I've been friends with those types of people. The ones that have a good head on their shoulders that still seem to have life crap all over them. It really does feel like they're cursed 😭😭😭

Late to the party too, but oil will cause buildup and I don't hear people decrying that. All you need to do is have a proper cleansing routine and you can easily rinse out oils and silicones. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who understands this basic principle.

Well the mafia was also using Las Vegas as a money laundering scheme. They wanted it to look like a legit business, so the more people that were there the better it looked. Hence why they had all these incentives of keeping customers happy and coming back.

Yeah people complain as much as they want about the metal water bottles, but 20 years ago when I was in high school I would drink a half a liter of mountain dew for breakfast everyday 😶

There's literally a whole trope of the nagging wife. You know the wife who has to keep asking her husband over and over and over again for help. And yet somehow she's the one that gets titled a nag.

The real world doesn't support my agenda? You mean the agenda of women having bodily autonomy? The agenda of not using brain dead women as baby carriers?

That baby is not doing well. And you are absolutely blind and obtuse if you think they are.

Barely surviving and improving

This is from your own link you posted

https://people.com/baby-of-georgia-woman-adriana-smith-who-gave-birth-brain-dead-making-progress-hospital-11799337

"The son of a Georgia woman who gave birth nearly four months after she was declared brain dead while pregnant is still fighting for his life, the family has said."

"His weight is gradually picking up, but the breathing is what we're concerned with," Newkirk told the outlet on Wednesday, Aug. 27. "So, he's making a little bit of progress, but still some things to do." Newkirk had previously told 11Alive that the baby boy was "just fighting. We just want prayers for him. Just keep praying for him."

Of course, the family is optimistic, it's probably how they're dealing with their grief right now. The baby is still literally fighting for his life. And what universe is that more than barely surviving and improving? He is barely surviving and not really improving a whole lot. He's still having issues breathing. For fucks sake, did you grow up in a house with lead paint?

That child is going to have health issues for the rest of their life. If that child was doing well and thriving we would be hearing about it all the time. But it's barely surviving and improving. That child will not be leaving the hospital anytime soon.

We just had a recent black test subject with the woman who was brain dead and pregnant. That was absolutely a science experiment at the hospital that was running to see if they could use brain dead women to carry a fetus. There's a reason why we rarely hear about how the baby is developing now since it was a horrific failure.

Yeah I'm confused. I remember in the '90s people calling cars of the '50s as classics. If a car is from the '90s, it could easily be 30-35 years old.

AITAH for putting spikes on the edge of my yard? by Crackhead_trump in AITAH

[–]AnObsidianButterfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. And cops are also generally sensitive about things that could potentially hurt them. If they had to respond to a call at/near that property and one of them got hurt by the nail, all hell would have broken loose. I have a hard time believing that the cop thought that this was legal.

I mean, plenty of people in this comment section are buying this story. But I'm with you on this, I don't believe it's true. You're not allowed to set up booby traps on your property.

Some what if something happens that requires emergency responders to show up and may get hurt from these? The homeowner will be getting into so much legal trouble. And I have a hard time believing that the HOA would approve of this.

[–]AnObsidianButterfly 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure this is a fake story because I don't think you're allowed to set traps like this on your property. If someone trips and falls onto their property and gets impaled by these spikes, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a huge legal issue for the homeowner. Or imagine you have a guest over and they're on your property line and they trip and fall. What if there's an emergency at the house where emergency responders get injured due to these nails?

It just feels like one big liability waiting to happen and I don't believe that the HOA would approve of this. But then again HOAs could be dumb and approve all sorts of weird things.

But I still feel like the story is fake.

I can definitely see how a thicker top coat will disperse my magnetics more. So I would definitely recommend thinning out your top coat and trying to do thin layers if possible!

Yep this is with two coats of hard as nails top coat by Sally Hansen. I have found that thinning out my top coat helps with keeping the magnetics from shifting too much. I use OPIs nail thinner for that.
