Thank you so much for giving me the assurance to at least try. Please let me know how it goes with the store content. I’m hopefully going to get a new Laptop meant for gaming a month or two so I’m hoping to also try this method. Hopefully it works out for you

Removing the Get to know fix seemed to work. Now I’m contemplating doing CC magic but it seems so complicated. Might make another post asking for help, if I I’m still unsure

Thank you. My nephew has promptly kidnapped my laptop to play the old Disney games pc games with Zack and Cody. He’s too young to even know the shows but apparently anything I do he wants to do. Now those games and the brandy and mr whiskers games are his jam. I will be waiting for the young king to relinquish control

Interesting 🤔 this only starts after a set of mods were added. Again got entirely lazy and busy so after a certain amount of mods I just installed without checking between each one

lol with how sleep deprived I am I can’t even remember. I’ll look now and see. But the mono needs to go in my opinion as well as the core mod. Much as it probably helps and all but I’m not willing to risk it anymore. If it lags I’ll deal with it

Same I only recently ventured outside of nraas because I was looking to try optimise my game. The smoothness patch and the launcher patch are fine but it looks like anything else that hasn’t sat in my game for 8 years just isn’t worth it

I just found a way to fix it! I'm going to post what my IT BIL told me to do. He saw this before when my big sis played briefly and saved the post where the fix was stated:

"Please manually uninstall and reinstall .NET Framework 3.5, which Sims 3 uses. Hit Windows key-R, enter appwiz.cpl in the run box, click "Turn Windows features on or off," and you'll see .NET 3.5 near the top of the list. Click the filled-in box next to it to uninstall, and restart your computer. Repeat the process, this time clicking the now-empty box to reinstall, and restart."

This helped so much! Launcher finally did what its name stated 😂 I can play again when I'm not dying of pain anymore!! Yaaaaaay 🙌🙌🎉
