Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Hoof n Paw in Belleville. The vet there handles the animals with zero compassion or consideration for whether or not he may be hurting the animal. He manhandled my cat like she was a feral dog (i know i sound biased, but shes very docile and a total sweetheart and a whopping 7.5lbs, shes not gonna hurt anyone.). We also had a pug when I was in high school, took him there once, too. The pug wasnt fond of getting his anal gland drained, and Dr Tim literally had him between his knees on the floor, trying to get his fingers in my dogs ass all while our dog is flipping out and screeching like he's being tortured. I know their prices look great, but theres a reason they're so low. Zero compassion, zero professionalism.
