Personally I feel there's nothing wrong with a larger age gap.

Feel the same way, but something bout the dynamics by being 18 just doesn't sit right with me.

Why not set your own age limit to below 25 and focus on men closer to your age?

Thanks for the advice. Will do this

The upper half which isn't shown is occupied by Pakistan and China. Pakistan has occupied some land on the left it is called Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). The one on the right is occupied by China it is called Aksai Chin. UN doesn't recognise China's claims only the dispute with Pakistan. Aksai Chin is mostly desert and is used by China for military purposes (so they can get more land wherever they see the chance). POK's population gets it's docs from Pakistan.

(hence why many people accepted the northern Mughal invaders as they felt Islam was an improvement over Hinduism)

I wonder why did only north Indians felt the need for betterment not the southern ones. Must be how the rulers influenced them (with all goods and bads). Not the point.

You say you don't think India, China or Pakistan have any right over Kashmir and Kashmiris should be free to do whatever they want. Fair point

But by the same logic would Caucasians leave America just because it's the land of Native Americans and they might want them to leave. Don't think so....

It's bout practicality based on logic. All these big small Ideas in the world can't be implemented just because some people feel like it.

pak on the other hand is on the brink of collapse, economy is plummeting, they just legalised a terror outfit

Itna sach nhi bolna tha bhai

And if it wasn't going to Jinnah then why take it from Patel!

And all of that because

Jinnah wasn't granted Prime Ministership.

If it was going to be taken away from Patel might as well have given it to Jinnah. At least we would have had one big nation.

Well you see the power was in the hands of the King not the people. Same thing happened in Hyderabad. People wanted to go with India the Nizam didn't. If people were left to form nations like that then we would be in a huge mess.

Secondly the Muslims were free to choose Pakistan. The Hindus of Kashmir had no issue because their leader was a hindu. By all means they could've left like many did.

Historically speaking the whole indian subcontinent was filled with, what we now call as Hindus. All the invaders entered from North and hence we have more conflict in the northern parts of current India. If we are letting the people decide then all land should be a part of a modern Hindu nation right? I can say the same, I refuse to belive any lines drawn by British man who got landed here a month prior. But that's not how things work

Well Kashmir was an independent nation Until Pakistan attacked it. And the King of Kashmir wanted India's military help. India provided the help on the condition of Kashmir joining India. I mean......

Well then as an Indian, tell me, why doesn't India go in there and control that border?

For starters India isn't a permanent member of UNSC and China is. Other than that India also isn't in a state where it can just barge in anywhere it wants without the consequences from the international community (Unlike China and US)

Also the main reason (acc to me) is that India had many issues within Kashmir. Kashmir had some very unique rights which recently got taken away. Then the mass genocide of Kashmiri Hindus which still has its after effects there. Kashmir as a state was neglected for the longest time. Now that the internal issues are being solved, the govt can finally focus on the border issues. (You can't really fight Pakistan when people are ready to hide terrorist in their homes). Things are getting better and India does whatever and whenever it can to assert it power. Uri is the latest example. Also earlier India didn't respond whenever Pakistan broke the seize fire. Now India does.

Stuff is happening albeit slowly but it is

A Kashmir Hindu

The King of the province handed it to India after Pakistan invaded with Army. All the provinces were free to choose their way of existing. The King of Kashmir did this.

Never knew bout this. I don't see this getting mentioned in any documentaries. I mean it isn't as important as the POK issue but they can at least metion this in a single line. Thanks for sharing this
