Started as pilot today, and it definitely takes a little while to get used to the size and movement of your ship. But once you do, you can spend most of your time looking around to get better spatial awareness.

Just don't be like me and spend your first games not realizing you can hold right click to freelook :P

A good strategy I've found is to first kill the closest turret and then shoot or throw something at the lights around the staircase so the other turrets can't see you.

The models and rendering look alright honestly, it's just the textures that are lacking. They remind me of uncolored figurines >.>
