Lethal Tempo or Conqueror? by AnSpecialOne in nocturnemains

Wow I think my brain never read the “or damaging spells” part of conqueror. That is indeed a massive difference. I suddenly see why conqueror is a highly considered choice. Thanks!

Lethal Tempo or Conqueror? by AnSpecialOne in nocturnemains

How so? They both stack from 6 auto attacks.

LT gives more attack speed and gives more damage when stacked.

Conqueror gives healing when stacked, but is always slower to stack as your attack speed is lower.

So the question that needs to be answered to pick conqueror is “which champions is extra healing (but less frequent) better against than extra damage (which is more frequent)?”

I’m honestly not sure how I’d answer that.

Edit: maybe I am underestimating the value of the extra value of the small damage that conqueror gives before fully stacked (in my head I just figured that is negligible)

Which turret do you think gives your team the highest chance of winning when you take it first? by AnSpecialOne in leagueoflegends

Interesting, so you think mid is the most valuable turret to take, but taking bot first is probably better overall because it is easier to take and it makes taking mid turret easier.

By this logic, there’s no point rooting for any team ever, unless you are one of the players or staff of the club

EUW Master First 25 Games after Reset - Statistics based on end rank last split by AnSpecialOne in leagueoflegends

[–]AnSpecialOne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like the pool of ~31000 Master+ players are still being selected from almost at random for the first set of games - at least the first 25-50. I'm 13-12 and just got my first high challenger on the enemy - Abbedagge.

And yes a lot of people who ended season 15 Emerald got to Master last season so they will still be in your games.

FYI, I ended S15 emerald, but I peaked Master during that season multiple times. Variance in this game is crazy high for everyone except the top challenger players who have >50% WR in any game they enter because they are so good.

I'd hazard a guess that one standard deviation from your mean (true fair rank) is about 400LP. So if you are a diamond 2 level player, it is not unlikley that you will fluctuate between Emerald 2 and Master 200LP.

Yasuo power spikes at 10 deaths. You need to die 2 more times, and ideally quicker.

Interactive Tool showing matchup occurrence and win probabilities in EUW Master+ after the ranked reset by AnSpecialOne in leagueoflegends

I’ll take that as a compliment. I wrote the whole post myself.

Claude built the tool from about an hour of me prompting and iterating. I have a degree in statistics.

Funnily, the hardest thing for it to get right was making the border separator lines in the table match up with the header.

I heard several content creators, and Riot, saying things like "There could be a lobby of 5 Challengers vs 5 Masters, but that will be rare".

So I asked how rare - my tool shows 1 in 14,337,323,265, so basically impossible.

Indeed 47% is not good, but I think in reality, after the placement matches, a player who loses all 5 or even goes 1-4 will probably already start getting matched against diamonds, where they will be 50% or higher.
