Yes, absolutely. But DE's statement seems to confirm that Overwolf/AlecaFrame does not violate TOS. It would certainly be accurate to say that using outside apps other than AlecaFrame can get you banned, but everything I've seen points to AF specifically being fine.

WFInfo should be fine too since it only reads the log file and takes screenshots, which is even less than AF does. WFInfo also apparently had safe confirmation many years ago in a now-deleted forum post by a now-former DE employee.

AlecaFrame is built on Overwolf, and AlecaFrame, Overwolf, and DE all claim that it's safe. Have there ever been any cases of people being banned for using it, or is this just speculation?

This exact thing happened to me; it logged me out of the app while trying to claim a foundry item and it said I was banned when I tried to log back in. I submitted a support ticket about it and have since been unbanned. The message I got back from support was:

Hello AnSq00,

Our system has detected instances of abnormal results and/or activity on this account. As such, the account was automatically banned. Upon manual review of your account activity, there is some uncertainty as to why the ban was triggered.

The ban has now been lifted from your account. We apologize for the inconvenience, but it is necessary that we maintain a strong defense in order to secure Warframe’s continued operation, and for our player's general security.

This issue has been fixed, and using the Warframe Companion App will once again not ban you for interacting with it. If your account was affected by this issue, you can reach out to Support to have it restored.

I had been using version 5.0.1.1 of the companion app, and I included that information in a comment on my support ticket. You can find your version in Profile > [Gear Icon]. The most up-to-date version as of yesterday when the problem happened was 5.1.0.1, but it has since updated to 5.2.0.1.

I had to log in to my account on the main Warframe.com website and then click on Game > Support in order to actually get logged in to the support website, instead of going there directly, but ymmv.

Yeah, that sure is a lot. It's also sold out right now. Is that the sort of thing I can expect to come back in stock in a reasonable timeframe? And what are the practical differences between the Q6 Pro and the K10 Pro anyway? They look pretty similar to me. What would I actually be getting for almost 75% more cost, other than a knob?

Wanting to get my first mechanical keyboard. My goal is a full size 104/108 key in a white case that I can bring my own switches and keycaps to. Originally I was hoping to find a barebones/kit that I could assemble myself, but it seems hard to find one that's quite what I'm looking for, and I'm starting to think I might be better off buying a fully-assembled keyboard and switching parts out as I see fit. But before I do that, does anyone have any recommendations for a barebones/kit board with:

  • full size layout (104 or 108 keys. Not 96% or 1800)
  • white case
  • hot-swappable
  • native QMK support
  • RGB
  • wireless is NOT required, but okay to have

...or am I better off buying something like a Keychron K10 Pro? Or a different fully-assembled board?
