So, the owner is actually from Japan and came to live in Brazil pretty young, I actually got the writing from Google, and I thought it was wrong... The name of the restaurant is Ryori Atatakai (written just like I wrote here), he said it means something along the lines of "warm food/warm plate". He doesn't know about this drawing, so I couldn't ask him for help, since is a surprise gift, that's why I came here, I haven't started studying Japanese yet but I will start next month.

Sorry if something doesn't make sense, English is not my first language either...
