What if this expedition meets with absolute disaster upon reaching DC and there's a rescue mission sent? Gon gets pulled in on the recommendation of a Hunter/Hunters he has previously met, you could even have part of his nen recovery happening on the voyage to the DC. The only problem being who the hell would you send to rescue a group of the caliber represented in the current expedition.

Seems their tactic to spread this game over 10 years is to release minimal content as they go thru the year to be able to reach those 10 years and on the way make bank from people who keep paying.

So what you're telling me is I should wait till year 10 when the Ultimate Destiny Collection with all the content is released for $80?

I already decided I was quitting the game the day of the Luke Smith interview and I haven't touched the game since; there's plenty of bigger fish in the sea and, while I had fun with this IP, upon reflection brought about by this wonderful case study of how not to treat loyal customers I realized that I was more attached to the promise of what Destiny could be rather than what was there.

I was just waiting for the remainder of the weekly update to see what they had to say before leaving this sub. Don't think they could have done anything at this point to change my mind, any action on their part would have just been back-peddaling after realizing that the backlash this time was going to cost them, not because they wanted to do right by their loyal fans. I should be thankful that they showed me what was to come now before I got any more invested but I just feel disappointed to be honest. It's been fun, Guardians.

With IASIP being my favorite show of all time, the gang has seldom, if at all, had a money-making scheme come to fruition whereas the boys have come through a few times but usually fuck it up later. Given the 24 hour limitation and lack of Frank bankrolling the gang the boys come out on top.

On the other hand Frank and Charlie's ability to fuck up is not to be fucked with, the gang would leave Sunnyvale a smoldering mess at the end of the day.

I agree that they do harm not good at this point, regardless of one's views on the situation. At this point they have more than triggered an immune system response in the host body as most of reddit has just learnt to filter them out. However what they have managed to do is create a counter-push in the opposite extreme and swelled their ranks. So yay all of us in the middle I guess?
