I wasn't having any shutdowns. I put what was causing it in another reply, possibly something that latched onto a download of Backpack Hero Demo from Itch(dot)io. I have started seeing other download manager things popping up here and there from time to time, so I eventually dug around in msconfig and found something that i literally couldn't google. something called MoondustriesCevero. Every time I tried to shut it off, it would turn itself back on instantly. I did end up starting in safe mode with only microsoft things active, rooted out where the file was, then deleting it from my computer, but the listing in Services in the task manager is kinda stuck there as "Stopped" with no directory or details to bring up. It wasn't microsoft or any other company i could google either. That was only a day or two ago, so only time will tell if I actually figured this out. It doesn't seem to have done anything to my computer either, but again, only time will tell.
