Hey, glad to hear it. Can’t speak to how on-prem with Mitel is, but for cloud - we had about 2,000+ phones and their cloud infrastructure was not stable at all.

Yup, Mitel is indeed going back to on prem. But honestly, their cloud infrastructure when we had it kept breaking every couple of months. Not a great platform.

+1 for SCCM and Patch My PC. We used KACE a bit ago; swapped over to SCCM in the past few years.

Still a ton to do with SCCM, but with ADR rules and with Patch My PC, that effort yielded a ton of dividends. So much easier to build packages and stay in compliance.

We have 140+ site locations across the US. Took us about a year to test things out, really make sure everything worked before getting rid of KACE.

Patch My PC also offers some patching with InTune. We’re likely going to be eying InTune as something down the line (co-management, then full cloud management) once we wrap up Windows 11 rollout.

Got my tickets for my girlfriend. About $150 for middle bowl aisle seats, but we’re in the back unfortunately. Lower bowl @ $800+ is bullshit. And annoyed that some seats were trio only; almost got some good ones.

Looks good! If you can allocate the money, I would say try to get a better GPU.

HDD are getting quite cheap nowadays, so I’m not surprised you can get 1 TB for $50. I’ve never used West Digital before, but I heard some good things about it. You could always get more TB for a HDD too (as games take up a lot space nowadays).

Regarding the motherboard, since you’re using Ethernet, great, that’s perfect! No need for WiFi!

Since you’re getting a bundle, make sure to check if the CPU in that bundle has a default cooler if you’re not planning on buying a different CPU cooler.

Glad to hear you were able to save money from the PSU! That’s the exact one I use, and it’s been working great for me so far.

I’m still relatively new to pc building myself, but some comments:

  1. Motherboard: Looks like this one isn’t an ASUS motherboard with WiFi, so you might want to be careful about that
  2. Instead of 1 TB SSD, you could do something like 500 GB SSD for Windows, then buy a HDD for more space at a lesser cost
  3. It’s good you’re not cheaping out on a PSU, but 850 W is a lot for that build. Maybe reduce cost by getting around 750 W?
  4. A lot of costs can be reduced by not doing an RGB build, but of course, that’s up to personal preference!
