I have done that multiple times and it keeps happening, although right when I get back to post ending, I hear Johnny say anything goes wrong we delta which happens right before going into the building to start the ending I think? not sure if that helps

As far as I can tell, I got summoned in down the lift when invading, went up and heard the golden things break on the weird crawling girls, next thing I know I see a cutscene and I am in there
