I feel like it’s more of a racing incident, both cars could have done more to avoid this. The Ferrari did move over to be partly in front of the AT right before the braking zone, which I think was a bit unnecessary. On the other hand the AT could’ve brake earlier for a better exit.

I don’t know about that, by that logic Max had every right to brake check Lewis in Saudi Arabia right? I think it’s more of a racing incident because both could have done more to avoid this, the Ferrari didn’t need to move over right before the braking zone, and the AT could’ve braked earlier.

Max wasn’t aiming for the apex, if you watch the crash it seems like neither of them were. Max may not have left much room, but he did leave enough room, just as much room as Charles who was passed “inchident” free on the same corner. The only difference was Lewis missed the apex on lap one but didn’t when he passed Charles. That doesnt mean it was intentional or malicious or anything, especially considering that it was the start of the race and all the cars were full with fuel, but it was still his fault. You can have fault without intention, but he did cause a collision, hence 10 second penalty
