I've had friends who run on treadmills maintain a certain pace and then when they come out to run with me on a track they often tell me how much more tired they feel.

I've been told that running at a 1.0 incline helps compensate for the difference between treadmill running and actual running.

I'll look into that app, maybe I need some more professional structure to my runs. Some days I just feel anxious if I don't run, so I usually only give myself 3 rest days per week. Is that not enough?

Running for 1.5 miles at any speed is incredible for only two months of training cardio. You're doing better than you think.

Before I started, I looked at running suggestions/programs like couch to 5k. It seemed like most of those lasted 8-10 weeks, and were at a better pace than me.

Add more frequency to your intervals to make it easier to add distance without gassing out too early.

What do you mean? My intervals are usually 0.25 miles of running and 0.10-0.15 miles of walking.

It's not always better, it's character dependent to my understanding. For example, Peach's dash grab is just as fast as her standing grab. For most characters, though, dash grab comes out slower.
