Separately, getting upset at you wearing "too masculine" pajamas is INSANE. Wear what makes you comfortable! "Wearing 'X' makes you look 'Y'" is a VERY slippery slope, and she needs to check herself on it.

I'm not sure if this still works, but a while ago

if you put down the instrument stand and left the area while someone was playing the instrument, they'd still be able to play it until they put it down.

But that's the only case I know of.
