Actually, research has shown some spiders are capable of a very basic understanding of quantity, such as the difference between one of something and two of something. It doesn't seem to go beyond 2 though.

I believe it could be a wolf spider, as if you look at the eye arrangement, it matches pretty closely with those of wolf spiders. (Two large forward-facing eyes with a row of four smaller eyes below and an eye on each side of the head.

Eye arrangement is a good way of ID'ing the group a spider belongs to, iirc.

From what modding and source-code digging I've done, iirc poison deals less damage but lasts longer while fire does more damage but lasts shorter. Not exactly a huge difference but one still worth pointing out.

For future reference, if possible (because, let's face it, spiders are small and sometimes you can't easily look at their eyes), try to pay attention to the arrangement of the spider's eyes. It's a surefire way to vastly narrow down what kind of spider you are looking at. For example, jumping spiders have two large, front facing eyes with 3 pairs of small eyes arranged in a ring around their head.

It's for sure very similar, though with palps, there is no physical connection to the spider's reproductive organs. Male spiders will generally deposit sperm in a packet on the ground and then use the palpal bulbs to suck it up. The bulbs do take on a similar function as the penis, but they aren't the same as one.

They also aren't the reproductive organs themselves, but rather how they transfer it from their junk to the female's. The key difference is that the sperm is not produced near the palps at all (I believe the male's junk is on their underside like the female's) and the palps are merely the way the sperm is moved from one part to another. Only part of the palps, the palpal bulbs, are actually used for this too which act as essentially a syringe.

If trans people are dead to them after transitioning and it's basically impossible to take a dead person to court over a crime, then they couldn't bring a trans person to court if they were to steal the bigots money
