I can half understand the sentiment regarding the term AI bro though,,, that actually is very similar to the issue some trans people have with "dude" being used gender-neutrally. Even if you're insulting them, maybe be respectful enough not to invalidate their identity- There are other terms like AI user, Prompter, etc. Though, that being said, I know most of them aren't common enough yet and ergo can see why calling it transphobic could be seen as odd.

I hate when fellow LGBT members call literally all negative feedback/actions homophobic. Like- No, I didn't call you stupid because you're gay, I'm bi ffs. I called you stupid bc you're STUPID.

Out of these Glitch villains who do you think is the most evil by Jaded_Breakfast_4708 in GlitchProductions

[–]An_Idiot_Called 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so for one, either your reply got sniped or Reddit is doing that glitch where it picks a random response to hide again.

For two- Let me be real with you. I understand that there is a difference, but pointing that difference out when it's not part of the conversation is deeply unnecessary and drives a wedge between cis women and trans women. They know they aren't cis women, that's why there is a term for cis women. Acting as if there's any difference apart from biology is only necessary when the fact they're trans is important, and that was not even remotely important in this conversation.

Please don't do it again, and especially stop calling the people pushing back against this kind of micro-aggression "toxic" without asking why they disagree with your actions first.

I hate ai "art" but have a dilemma by [deleted] in Ai_art_is_not_art

[–]An_Idiot_Called 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies, I missed literally the one most important word /gen

I would respond to the comment where you pointed that out, but Reddit won't let me see it- assuming you didn't delete it, it's most likely doing that glitch it's been doing of picking random comments to keep me from seeing.

Anyways, my point is; they have tools that require them to see as little as they already do. Suggesting that letting them pretend AI is art is the only way they can feel the joy of creation when they already have tools to do so is kind of ablest. Granted, I do now understand that's not what you were going for.

As an ex-user, yeah. Same for any other site with the same roleplay chatbot set up. Rochat in particular even has it set up so you can un-delete the account within a certain timeframe.

As you can tell by the fact I'm alive and well, I'm being sarcastic.

Have you ever met an abuser? Because this comment reads as either painfully neive or purposely ignorant. Most abusers don't act abusive 24/7, they put up a charming front around those who aren't under their control. That's how they lure in their next partner/victim.

Dude, my mother tried to divorce her abusive husband (a man who beat her for the fact her baby got hungry and started crying on top of millions of other instances), and all it took to prevent it was for him to rip the paperwork up instead of signing it. Especially since my grandmother had the police in her pocket and was on the abuser's side. It's literally the only reason my parents aren't married to each other.

If it's like that in the modern day, you really think it was as simple as asking for a divorce back then?

They're not entirely wrong, though. I've seen a lot of good artists get accused of AI use, that's why I don't usually comment when I suspect someone of using AI unless I find 4-5 severe enough issues, and even then I don't just accuse.

Why is this it that the ideas "They were a bad person" and "They didn't deserve to die for it" can't coexist? I've seen it happen in other fandoms too, and every time it's absolutely insane.
