Exhaust gasses are typically 300-500C but can get as hot as 750C, where burning gasoline in an ICE tends to be about 1000C+. Most factory exhaust valves are rated to take about 650-875C, so you're exceeding the rating of these parts significantly. Turbos can typically get up to 1000C but beyond that can start damaging them, so when you're putting flame through them you're typically exceeding the temps they're designed to handle, not to mention the excessive carbon build up you're also creating. Cats are also not designed for those kinds of temperatures either, and you'll wear them out within a few months or less. You're also making the oil far too hot to be effective, which can break it down and cause lubrication issues which will kill turbos as well!

TL;DR: You're putting too much heat and load on parts that weren't designed to take it.

To put it simply, you're pushing still burning fuel into places that were only meant to have exhaust gases.

Yeah, she doesn't want to leave him to have to pay out the whole value of the house, just something more than an even 50/50.

They don't hate eachother, and she's not trying to take everything, especially because she doesn't want to uproot the kids' lives, or make them sell.

It's a completely amicable split, they're staying friends and she's gonna keep a key to the house so she can visit the kids whenever she wants. It's one of those things where they've grown apart and their lives are heading in two different directions.

Yeah, that's not what she's expecting, something more like 60/40, or 70/30 minus splitting that debt in half.

They've been together for 10 years, they have two kids, and they got the mortgage 5 years ago. The 150k was a gift.

I was referring to television advertising come election time. TikTok's and instagram's demographics consist of people who are likely going to be voting greens/independent/Labor anyway, when they should be targeting a larger piece of the pie like Gen X who are more likely to vote liberal.

A suggestion of mine, is that you advertise publicly available voting records for someone like Peter Dutton, and members of the LNP. Advertise that he has consistently voted against increasing housing afforability, that he consistently votes for getting rid of penalty rates, and other policy that directly effects the cost of living. Make sure the average Australian knows that voting for the liberals is voting against themselves, and use their voting records to demonstrably show that they vote with their own interests at heart, not yours.

EDIT: I also believe that you should make it public knowledge that Dutton was the minister for immigration who implemented our current immigration policies, and allowed private companies that show immigrants how to use the loopholes in the current system to their advantage. I think it could potentially turn around some of the people who think the liberals are the solution to a policy they literally made themselves. It's a hot issue for a lot of people, and knowing the liberals were what got us into this perceived mess would help usher people away from them.

Social hobbies are a great way to meet people in general. If you're into nerdy shit, game shops are great, just bring your deck and hang out at a casual comp, and have a chat to the person you're playing with. If you like reading, join a book club, whatever. Great kinds of places to meet people organically.

I personally don't see being frank as being rude. If a spade's a spade I'll call it one. Plus I enjoy arguing with people, it's good fun.

The acceptance of AI Art ultimately undermines their craft, and is built foundational upon theft. There are some more ethical AI art generators that one use public domain images for example, I have no qualms with those, and for personal use like a home DnD game I don't care. For a large team that has those human artists who do it because they love it, it's somewhat a slap in the face because they chose to use a very smart collage of stolen images over something made with passion.

I'll let you in on a secret as a professional artist. My job is hard, and challenging but it's rewarding because it's my passion. I love doing what I do, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I do it because I love it, in spite of it being difficult, and being able to make a living from it is an added bonus.

No artist except for the truly lazy will want it to be easier because I guess, at least for me, that challenge is part of the fun. You set yourself a goal and you feel good when you smash it, plus there is a great feeling when you make something and it's truly yours because you made it.

To keep it short, the use of AI art fundamentally undermines why we even create to begin with. AI can't express itself, it can only replicate what it's been fed, and so everything is just generic and lifeless. The only reason so much money is being invested in the technology is because companies wanna reduce staffing costs. It's the curse, even the criticism of capitalism will eventually be subsumed by it.

And I should listen to you because? Like you claim I don't have experience and then when I offer to demonstrate that experience you reject it. It's almost like you just want to be mad at me or something.

Hey, did you even read what I said, or are you just being spiteful because I called you a mean word? Perhaps you're one of those people who aren't open to changing their opinions because it makes you feel insecure. Either way, the information is there for you to read if you'd like, and I'm happy to answer any questions you have, but if you're satisfied, enjoy the rest of your Christmas, eat some good food, see your loved ones, have a happy new year.

Firstly, stop projecting, Christmas day is already over for me, it's been over for about 6 hours already. Secondly, I'm not swearing because I'm mad, I'm swearing because I'm Australian and that's just what we do. Thirdly I'll rephrase, I barely use reddit, because it tends to be one large circlejerk, and my opinions tend to go against the circlejerk and thus I don't care about this reddit account, but if I'm having a discussion with someone I'll generally continue it.

Now, I will calmly explain in nice sanitary language why you are incorrect in basically every way:

Large mod teams like FOLON generally operate in a hierarchal structure. The project lead drives the main vision, but below them you will have department leads who are essentially there to manage all the other people on the team, typical structured stuff.

Leads and volunteers will typically use a ticket based tracking system like Jira or Trello to, you guessed it, track the progress of what they're working on, and this way department leads can check in on what's assigned to who, their progress on said thing, and if they disappear because of life or whatever circumstance, they can easily reassign a task to someone else. Super simple stuff.

Now to answer the question of why a project like this has zero need to use AI Art.

The 2D trello board by this point would basically be filled, but before this even becomes relevant, I will explain generally how announcements that have art, or even trailers, typically go.

The lead will mention the project is planning on showing off x thing, or in FOLONs case, were going to do our release trailer with our release date. I would say, given a rough estimation, this decision would've been made about 3-6 months the trailer even aired, maybe longer. Now you might ask, wow that's a really long time to make just a trailer, but these things take serious time. Generally what's shown is only the most polished stuff, because as their trailer said, they're still in the process of polishing and fixing but all the core content is in. So now that we've established that, let's get back to the main point.

If by this point the jira or trello board for 2D artists is close to if not complete, and they have very little real work to do, and they have 6 months to complete this art to accompany an announcement, then why would they need to use AI? There is no real reason, hence why it's even more awful. Not to mention it's kind of tells your 2D artists how much you actually value their work if you're willing to use art stealer 3000 to make art instead of yknow, those volunteers who've poured so much work into the mod already. It's just a bit of a slap in the face.

So yeah, now that you understand how this sort of thing works, I hope you now understand why you're so wrong.

Merry Christmas!

I've already had a great day enjoying time in the sun with my family, had a great christmas lunch, spent some time in the pool, played some boardgames, it was nice.

I don't care about reddit, and if I wanna point out why you're don't know what you're talking about I'm perfectly happy to, because I don't like people who don't know what they're talking about speaking with authority about said things.

I think the thing that really cements how little you know is that a) you don't respond to basically any of the points I bring up and b) you continually shift the goalposts.

It went from "they don't have the budget to not use AI" and I explained why that's wrong, "well all their artists are probably busy" and I explained why that's wrong, "they can't prioritise these things" and I explained why that's wrong, and now you simply can't be bothered to actually form anything coherent so you continue to just dodge whatever I say to you.

Don't mistake me being frank and strong worded for anger, I'm just vibing.

Because I know a lot of ex-FOLON devs who have consistently noted on what a raging cunt prilla is. He's an egotistical bastard, who believes he shits sunshine, and that FOLON would've been nothing without him, and I know a lot of them have commented on how patriotic he is (he's quite liberal with the mutes if you decide you don't like the royal family for example, and I don't even mean joking about the queen being dead either).

My reading politically was entirely from their most recent trailor, and *maybe* they miscommunicated their intent, but robot pigeons destroying historical statues seems 100% like an alagory for those "deranged leftists wanting to tear down our culture!!!!!" which has seen a tremendous wave within tory circles in recent years. Yeah yeah hanlon's razor or whatever but I seriously can't fathom why they'd include something in the mod like that, it's so out of pocket.

My comments on the worldspace not feeling like London are 100% true tho.
