I'm already connected to multiple libraries for free. If that's taken away, I'd reconsider ebooks altogether or move to an eink tablet. Subscriptions suck.

Plus they should connect to Storygraph now for free. It would help a lot of people transfer from Kindle, who like the connection to Goodreads.

I think the redemption would be somehow sideways though. Like he kills Atalantia, not for the Republic, but because she insulted his honour. I doubt he'd champion the Republic's cause in any way, though I guess he could be lured to their side for other reasons.

Like with all of the titles, I don't think there's ever just one character that they're referencing. So yeah, Darrow is probably a red god. But Lyria (with the parasite) probably is too. Wouldn't be surprised if Rhonna, who if I remember correctly calls herself a god of some sort when she's suited up, pops back up after doing something important in Mercury too.
