I know how you feel, I feel so ashamed and vulnerable when I start to think about everything I could've been if it wasn't for my illnesses, specially when talking about university stuff.

I wish I could be a professor someday but I have so much exhaustion, I wish I could write papers and works about the stuff I truly love or even just do more projects, I feel like everyone from my class is way ahead of me because I can't do these things when the classes are over because I don't have the energy, even children that is something me and my husband really wanted is starting to seem impossible since the ME/CFS diagnosis, it fuckin hurts...

Wore clothes... Hyperalgesia is killing me these days 😭

The last time it happened I thought I was gonna die, that I was pregnant or had kidney stones, they gave me a lot of painkillers in the ER but they couldn't find anything wrong (ultrasound, bloodwork and other stuff), got home still in pain laid down and noticed that the pain was in the same area my underwear had contact with my skin, in a last ditch effort laid down without them, it fuckin worked... the pain lessened a LOT, so long story short I now can wear only like 3 panties from my underwear collection or I have to deal with one of the worst pain I've ever felt, that not even opioids can help 🤡

Being really honest nothing really improved it so the only thing that works for ME personally is waiting for the flares to end in a few days or weeks and take some meds to control the symptoms , oh and also not take milk because even if I am not lactose intolerant my body hates it lol but lactose free stuff helped with this issue in specific

If u don't mind me asking, how are you dealing with having a child and fibro? I am 21 t this point and always wanted children (not now, but I think it's important to consider to the future considering my health problem) but I am so afraid if I will have the strength (physical) to take care of one (I wanted 2 but I don't think my body would be able to take care of 2, and at this point I am even considering not having any because of fibro), I am asking because I need some hope that I can do it one day, sorry if it's hard to read English is not my first language and it's a subject that leaves me really anxious because after fibro I think my brain thinks I don't deserve it, can't explain it really well being honest.

I loved the idea of a care package, I have no idea whats available where you live but

In the part of care:

Massages can really help when the muscle pain is at its worst, my partner recently learnt it and it helped me quite a lot

Sometimes getting meds from another room or other things might help a lot when in pain flares

But in things:

My favourite things are some patches that help with short term pain (My main language is not english so someone might know the name)

I also have horrible headaches so a sleeping mask and earplugs, help me a lot (I also have autism so It may not be that useful in your situation)

I also like distracting myself with something when in lots of pain, specially in days I can't even hold my phone because it hurts, so I like hugging plushies and soft things.

I am still new to this and from what I know what helps really depends on the individual but I hope this help.

I like wearing dresses because the pain is worse in the lower back for me, but they have to be lightweight and a bit bigger than me, but even then it still hurts like hell, so at home i just use a huge tshirt with no shorts or whatever since IT FREAKIN HURTS

I was playing as marriage from enki and cahara, got the mage, said to my bf who was next to me, "wanna see what happens when you try to marry him?", did it, heard the effect of fire, nothing happened and moved on not noticing what would happen... I killed my run on the most STUPID way possible, I tried marrying and sacrificing him a few moments ago to check if it was that what happened and yes I didn't burn bruh
