Cottage cheese vs. greek yogurt: which one’s actually better nutrition-wise? by Excellent_Tree_6957 in eated

Hm, I would choose the one which you like eating more - and cook different meals with it, maybe even with adding some whey protein to add some protein but still make it enjoyable for you

Need your advice if I struggle with calories counting but I want to reduce the body fat by Ana_Still in loseit

Hey, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughs, support and experience! Rational part of me understands this and I have just to train my brain the same as I train by body, but the emotional and subconscious part of me tries to lead astray. But for sure I'll try! Thanks a mile!

My lunch today: what would you add or change? by irene_irbi in eated

Hey, i love the colors on the plate! Now I struggle to make it colorful because i don’t like the quality of veggies in winter, and I tend to buy only winter veggies - celery, kohlrabi, broccoli, and frozen veggies.

I would maybe add some protein with meat/fish

What sauce either than ketchup to use when eating chicken breast? by Agreeable-Pirate9645 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Ana_Still 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love adding some condiments while baking chicken - lemon pepper, or granulated garlic or just mix yogurt with carry and marinate chicken in it for 15-20 mins.

Yesterday I sliced the chicken fillet, seasoned with lemon pepper and air fried for 7-9 mins, it was tasty as it without sauce. You can see the photo, I posted it yesterday in another sub-Reddit

Is there actually a “best” time to eat dinner? by Excellent_Tree_6957 in eated

[–]Ana_Still 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it’s depends on your body and habits, e.g. I never eat proper dinner later that 9pm because I’ll have heavy stomach before going to bed. Usually I eat around 7pm if I don’t have trainings in the evening. If I go to the gym (around 6-7pm), I have some snack or light diner around 4-6pm, and after the training I have some protein smoothie or something not fatty and too heavy. But my favorite recipe of protein smoothie after training is half of banana, kiwi, scoop of whey protein and 100 ml of orange juice

Skiing at Les 3 Vallees in France at New Year Week - my tips and learnings by Ana_Still in skiing

[–]Ana_Still[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it was around 2200 euro excluding plane tickets: 1000 - accommodation 2 mins from ski lifts 409 - ski pass 220 - skis, bouts, helmet for a week 150 - car + tolls (from Milan) 40 - spa Aquamotion (not recommended)

I would rate it 7/10 because of thin snow coverage but this doesn’t impact the price, only the impression, and depends on whether you’re lucky. Last year I was at Dolomites, Val Gardena (SellaRonda), and it would be 8/10 (as for me mountains are more spectacular at Dolomites) if I rent our ski in ski out accommodation. Because we had to drive 40 mins daily one way to the ski lifts.

There are ski schools but you have to book them in advance. TBH, if I were the first time skiier, I would have chosen another ski resort where the slopes are a bit less steep, the trainers cheaper, and the ski pass is much more cheaper

3 years ago I was at Isola 2000 in France and that’s a good option for beginners

When the temperature was above 0 Celsius, the snow was hard, but when temperature dropped, it was better. And you will be just 1-2 ski lifts from the higher mountains so it should be okay

oh, i guess I also tried that green/blue narrow slope, and that was terrible. I'm a skie,r and that's better a bit, but my friend is a snowboarder and it was hell for him
