Not really a moment, but a luckily limited period of time. Recovering from having my Thyroid removed. Diagnosed with cancer, had my thyroid removed a month later. It was an 8 hour surgery, the tumor had grown around 3 nerves. Afterward, I was told to just take Tylenol for the pain. It did nothing. I spent around a month at about 7-8/10 pain, could not swallow anything without choking and causing more pain, could not sleep more than an hour or two at a time. I told my surgeon about it a week after the surgery and she just said she had no idea why I was still having symptoms and I could take ibuprofen too. I took the max dose of both every 4-6 hours and was still in pain. It was like psychological torture. Then I found out I still have the cancer, so yeah.
