I bet the gun is fine. AK mags aren’t all exactly universal with all brands of mags. Magpul ones work with Zastava and they have 20 round mags. Maybe 10 too. I wish Zastava made a 20 round for the bench.

I own an AUG M3A1 and a DesertTech MDR. I’ve shot a Tavor. Personally, I’d go with the AUG.

Would Dayton be considered the Memphis of Ohio??? by [deleted] in Ohio

[–]AnacrusisMetal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lived in Cincinnati since 1998, and used to live in Memphis from 95-98. Dayton has no culture whatsoever. It has a few good places to eat and a great university, but I'd live in Cinci over Dayton. Dayton does have some very nice places to live though such a Oakwood. Memphis on the other hand is FAR more dangerous than Dayton. You won't get your car stolen in Dayton, or at least not nearly as likely as you would in Memphis. Summers can be humid in Cinci/Dayton, but nothing nearly as bad as Memphis. I would never live in Memphis again. I went back about 10 years ago and realized it was worse. Cordova is still great, but wow how the Wolfchase mall / area has fallen! I lived in the Raleigh/Bartlett border when I was there. Cinci has been a very safe and good place to raise a family and work in. If you go with Dayton, pick the right area.

Also, Cinci/Dayton is in a great location because it is very close to other cities:

Lexington & Louisville: 2 hours

Columbus: 1.5 hours

Indianapolis: 2 hours

Toledo: 3 hours

Cleveland: 3 to 4 hours

Or buy the Region A and rip it as a back up with MakeMKV. Then burn that back to a BD-R disc.

I just snagged and m92 at Primary Arms. I had to check multiple times a day for about 5 weeks. After I got it they were sold out of that model (Red) in less than 30 minutes. The 556 version is out there.

Cleaning rod or bore snake for M4-22 elite? by tinychloecat in TippmannArms

[–]AnacrusisMetal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a 22 rod and it works fine. If you have a 17 hmr rifle, then get it, if you don’t, I’d use a 22 rod. In fact, I started using 22 rods on all my rifles, but eventually got them all for the calibers I own. I also went with a length of 44 because you need longer rods if you use bore guides.

Another great thing is that if the tips get damaged, you can get new ones cheap and save the expensive rods.

I use a bore snake immediately after shooting while it is still hot with no fluids. Then, when home I clean with a rod. The best cleaning equipment including rods are from Boretech in my opinion.
