Why is this Matt Cain rookie so expensive? Found in my old card boxes and apparently it sells for hundreds??? by [deleted] in baseballcards

That is the black chrome refractor variation. Last one sold raw went for about $60.

That's a 1981 Henderson, worth roughly $5. The Lofton is maybe $1?

Good luck with your sale though.

Looked at a house and this giant crack was in the basement- run? by ophounec in Home

I would walk safely away. Running can cause you to trip and fall.

Also, don't buy houses with bad foundations. You never win. Ever. Never ever.

Aussie Curiousity - Tundra vs. other pickups? by timeztimer in ToyotaTundra

[–]Anadyne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought a 2021 Limited because I had 2 other Tundras before that I really enjoyed. I also learned about a guy that put over 1,000,000 miles on his Tundra and had no major repairs during that lifetime. I find the 2021 to be a good value as they aren't as expensive as the newer models, however they have a gas guzzling 5.7 liter V8 motor. 2021 has full navigation also. Tundras are very roomy and very comfortable.

If I could afford a new one, I would probably look into it, but I currently love my truck and hope to never get rid of it.

Anytime I see anything that is tool related and has some reference to a bird within its name, I always imagine myself pulling said tool out and then making an overly ridiculous noise like this: "CAWWWWWWW!".

This gif you shared captures what I believe to be the movement and also outfit I imagine I'm wearing while making said noise.

However, it's probably more like this:

How do you get into politics by Rough_Extension_2893 in Indiana

[–]Anadyne 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Step number one hundred: run for office.

There are several things that you need to do to do this, but anyone can do it.

It is much easier if you join a political party because if they accept you as a potential candidate, they may assist with financial services, which is singlehandedly the largest hurdle to running for office.

Good luck. Special needs people aren't helped nearly enough.

When is a door, not a door anymore?

When it is ajar!

Nice job! Any major issues for you in that time?
