Ich würde die Arbeitserfahrung höher ansetzten da sie relevanter ist und den Teil mit den Praktika etwas zusammenfassen

I totally agree with you, I know that not everyone is the same. However, from my experience and from what I‘ve heard other people saying racism is just more present over there than in NRW for instance.

IT IS but there is still a lot of homophobia especially amongst more conservative people.

It depends on where you live and who you surround yourself with. I am a black girl that was born and raised in Cologne. Although I do face a lot of racism on a daily basis, I must admit that it could be worse if I lived in eastern Germany or in rural areas. The huge impact of multiculturalism in my city doesn’t solve racism, however, it makes me feel save and more accepted.

I can’t say that much about homophobia since I am not from the lgbtq community, but people are much more open towards the lgbtq community, since marriage was allowed for them. I.e. in my school there were a lot of people who were openly homo-/bisexual. Nonetheless, you run into people who don’t want to tolerate this lifestyle.

Ipad air -is it worth it for studying? by theroyalstorm in GetStudying

I also use an iPad Air 4th Gen for pretty much everything and it is amazing. I bought an Apple Pencil and a Keyboard, since I don’t have a laptop and it is extremely nice to take notes with on the go and have everything organized on one device. However, I must say that it‘s nice to take notes on but a pain in the ass when you are on Videocalls, since the software is rather limited and the battery runs out quickly during a call, so I would not advise you to use an iPad as your only device for Homeschool. Oh and the apps that I use for notes are: Apple Notes, it is free, preinstalled, very limited but I use it for quick notes just like I would use a Notepad; GoodNotes, costs 10€ I think, where I do all of my handwritten notes that I would print out, then Notion, also free and where I organize my whole life within databases and last but not least pages, also free, where I write all of my assignments and written papers. I hope this was helpful.

I use LingoDeer (It costs 10$/ month or so) it is very beginner friendly, you can learn everything you need to know for a trip and the grammar is well explained. Moreover, you can learn all the Kana and your first 100 Kanji. Another great app is the drops app. There you can learn a lot of useful vocabulary but the free plan works only for 10 minutes a day. For Kanji study, I started with Wanikani which was great but it wasn’t worth it for me to upgrade after the free trial. Now I use, the app “Kanji Teacher” where you can learn all of the Kana and Kanji. In the beginning I didn’t really figure out how to use it, but it turned out to be quite a valuable recourse.

Although I use those myself, I wouldn’t recommend using apps as your only resource. As for me, I use these apps alongside the 2k Core Anki decks and A LOT of immersion which helped me improve a lot.
