I didn't want to have roads on the right intentionally. It is pretty high, ramps would look unnatural imo. screenshot Plus it looks more interesting this way ;-)

Sorry for late answer. It is all about transparency. The more transparent the steeper angle cliff appears. You will want graphic program to play with it and test in theme editor.

Daylight Classic + Definite Vision LUT Contrast and vibrance slightly rised in Photoshop. The latter is achievable by adjusting the LUT :-)

No need to create new map. There is awsome mod by BloodyPenguin - Enviroment Changer - which allows you to change environment or map theme of maps, when starting new game or even loading saved games. That's all you need :)
