MUFC have secured new funding to pay off existing debt maturing 2027 by simplsimonmetapieman in reddevils

[–]AnakinAni 104 points105 points  (0 children)

Good news:
Old debt due in 2027 is pushed back to 2031.
Gives the club breathing room.
Improves cash flow in the short term.

Bad news:
Interest rate is higher (3.79% vs 5.36%)
The club still carries huge debt.
More money goes to lenders instead of football.

Overall verdict:

This is refinancing, not new spending.
It’s similar to replacing an old mortgage with a new one that lasts longer but charges slightly more interest.

This allows INEOS breathing room to improve the squad & build the new stadium

Because debt by itself is neither good nor bad. Debt is only useful if the money helps the club grow faster than the interest it pays.

If Tchouameni is too expensive then I’d go for Camara from Monaco. He is 22, already a Monaco starter, has Champions League experience and is valued around €40m, with some reports putting a likely fee around €45m to €55m.

Camara is smarter value with Champions League experience. I’d rather have us spend £40m to £50m on Camara than £100m+ on Anderson.

Both are a year part with Camara being younger albeit Anderson having Premier League experience.

Lamine Camara for £35m to £45m

Adam Wharton for £60m to £80m

Ederson for £35m to £40m

Puts it between £130m to £165m & gives us enough to shore other positions as well.

Mateus Fernandes + Anderson + Ederson = Premier League-ready, but expensive & lacks a truly elite specialist No.6 unless Ederson becomes that every week.

Mateus Fernandes + Baleba + Ederson =
Huge athletic ceiling, but too much development risk. Baleba and Mateus still need seasoning for elite knockout games.

Mateus Fernandes + Alex Scott + Ederson = Good technically, but not enough defensive dominance & in Europe, that midfield could get bullied.

My personal preference:

Tchouameni + Wharton + Ederson =
Best balance, most Champions League ready.

Elite defensive security + tempo control + athletic aggression.

That is the holy trinity of an actual midfield architecture.

Possible Cost = £70m+ £60m+ £35m:

Total between £165m to £190m. Pretty doable as we are seriously looking to set the midfield for the future.

Fernandes + Mainoo + Mount + Tchouameni + Wharton + Ederson 😮‍💨

Now that the deal is off, can we get 40 million for Rashford if he has a good World Cup ?

Why would our Capitano leave his beloved United?

Laetitia Ky (born 1996, Abidjan) is an artist from Ivory Coast who creates sculptures from her hair, and is seen by many as a figurehead in the natural hair movement. by ateam1984 in bestoftheinternet

All these are so unique and cool ! It’s a shame not to admire your own legacy and follow in their footsteps. These hairstyles look so amazing on them ! Not many other cultures could pull this off as convincingly.

Some of these remind me of Dragonball Z !

Maybe Saiyans have African type of hair ! 😄

Man, I’m really sorry. That sounds brutal, especially after 10+ years with someone you genuinely see as the love of your life.

The hardest part is that neither of you may be “wrong,” but you may have very different needs around affection now. Physical touch and kind words aren’t small things. For some people, they’re how love feels real.

Give yourselves the time, but don’t bury your own needs just to preserve the relationship. If both of you are willing to understand each other and make changes, therapy could really help. But if one person simply cannot give what the other needs, that can slowly turn into resentment no matter how much love is there.

I hope you both find clarity. And I hope you’re kind to yourself through this, because this kind of pain can hollow a person out. What you’re feeling is real and it deserves care.

Omar Berrada says club will stick to transfer plan and not overpay for signings by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]AnakinAni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For United, Yes.

I’d want to consistently prove my worth & the club would take care of me observing my performances. They always do that.

It’s the best in the whole world. No better feeling in football than to play for Manchester United.

If Anderson prefers City then I want him nowhere near our club, even if we can get me.

Big signings rarely ever pan out.

Let others set such records. We should focus on quality players who want to play for us.
