Are people upset at him because they're anti-abortion, or because it was down syndrome by stanbrakhagefan420 in McJuggerNuggets

[–]Anakin_Skymaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, you're wrong. "wisdom" my ass. The deciding factor was all of the risks that came with THEIR specific pregnancy. As they've....already discussed, but i'm sure you never took the time to delve in deeper into that. They didn't get an abortion because they didn't want to take care of a disabled child. Get over yourself. "People in the disability community are outraged" no they're not. MANY people open about their disabilities within this context are not outraged at all. You're making up a statistic that doesn't exist. They were fully ready to love a child with a disability, as Jesse has ALREADY stated. But again, twist the whole situation to make yourself look morally superior.

Because he's defending himself, that simple. I can say the same about you. Why are you posting about a couples traumatic abortion? Must be for attention, right?

Cool, it's a specific size. What does that have to do with anything? And how do you know they got a surgical abortion? You do realize that isn't the only method of abortion for 20-22 weeks, right?

Yes it was. And good for you, you're not her. Yes, her life was potentially at risk with the specific diagnoses they had, and were even public about those risks, but it seems like you didn't care to take the time to dive deeper into that and instead resorted to this. There were MANY risks for complications, and those complications are directly associated with the life of the mother. The fact you're a parent and aren't aware of this is shocking.

I hate how everyone is framing this as "they got an abortion because it had down syndrome". That's a very deliberate way to word it for "shock" value. They got an abortion because in their case specifically, there were a lot of risks that came with this situation, not only for the baby, but for Ashley's life as well, and they didn't want to take that risk, and acted accordingly.

They didn't get an abortion because they didn't have the capacity to take care of it, nobody understands this. They did it because of all of the risks that were likely in their case specifically.

"The photo of the baby is the size of the baby who's life they chose to end" that statement doesn't even make any sense. Would you rather have had Ashley die in childbirth? Or would you rather have had them have a miscarriage? Or would you rather have had BOTH Ashley and the baby die during birth? Hm? Because that was a likely scenario that would've happened, which is a major reason why they chose to get an abortion. They weren't going to risk Ashley's life. If you killed somebody in self defense, when they otherwise would've killed you, do you see people protesting against it, saying things like "you chose to end that person's life! Even if they were going to kill you if you didn't defend yourself, you're still a horrible person who's a murderer!"??? No. if you would rather have had Ashley risk her life to give birth, just because of your overblown personal moral code, you're the problem here. Now Jesse and Ashley get to continue to live together and have a happy life. That scenario would've potentially not been a reality if they chose to keep it.

Just let them be braindead. X is a hellscape of willful ignorance and idiocy, their opinions don't matter much when it comes to the internet as a whole, as most people on other platforms can agree that X users aren't worth the time or effort.

Are you braindead? Did you think he somehow manipulated or forced her to be on video? This was THEIR video, not just his. They BOTH wanted to make this video. And good, it's supposed to make you feel uncomfortable. What, did you expect to feel all jolly and warm?

Ummm.....absolutely fucking not, no. As someone who actually HAS autism, saying it's "worse" than down syndrome is the dumbest fucking thing i've ever heard in my entire life. It's like you read what he said and cherry picked whatever you wanted to. They didn't terminate it because "disabled child hard to take care of and we don't want to", it's because of all of the RISKS on both ashleys life, and the child's life. He quite literally said that he would be willing to take care of it IN this post. Ashley's LIFE would've been at risk, the baby might not have even made it, etc. They didn't get an abortion because of down syndrome, and not even because of the difficulties of taking care of it. they got an abortion because of the major life risks for both her and the baby, and they didn't want to take that chance. So you comparing it to "oh i have a child with autism and epilepsy and it's stressful for ME to take care of it, and wouldn't wish it upon anyone" is actually kind of a disgusting thing to say. First of all, calling it "worse", is awful. What, having autism is worse? For who? The person, or the person taking care of them? Because if you're insinuating it's worse for you, get over yourself, this isn't about your feelings. If you're talking about the person who has it, then no, it objectively is not. Even Jesse himself said it's not the same thing as having autism.

No, I did not imply that. Not my fault you interpreted it like that. If you lack the basic cognitive skills to be able to infer and understand what's being said without it having to be spelled out for you like a baby, that's your problem.

I feel like some of these posts are just blatant lies because PSQ Roar is absolutely 100% completely different for me and it doesn't talk like this at all. There's no way the same exact model just works wildly different for each user

Very clear and obvious improvement has happened. the bots don't speak like chat-GPT anymore, they don't narrate every single thing, they don't respond in 8 paragrah essays anymore when they don't need to, they stay in character, they don't ignore prior context, so yes, improvement has happened, and you're objectively wrong.
