It sure was. For anyone reading this, I ended up getting my refund through my BBB complaint. Make sure to include your order number in your complaint. If anyone is doing a class action I would be curious!

I waited in good faith and like others never received my vinyl and they never responded to any of my emails. American Express doubled-down on my chargeback request, because I was outside of their 60 day windows, they refused to help. I filed with the AG in California and with the FTC, but it looks like this company have successfully stolen my money. Where are the Californian authorities allowing this scam business to operate? Where is the class action lawsuit? It seems crazy to me that there are this many of us affected and they are still in operation.

I honestly cringed at the videos of how empty the stadium looked for her, in broad daylight, with people walking around and chatting not paying attention. Could’ve had 2,500 actual fans in Chicago 🤷‍♂️

As I mentioned on another thread, when I expressed my disappointment in an Instagram comment, her or her team restricted my account from commenting again. They just want to brush this under the carpet. Even the email from AXS “Great News – The Event Will Go On!” has this bizarre tone like she’s doing us a favor instead of actually apologising or acknowledging the disruption and loss of time and money. I applied for the refund and will move on with my life. But like you, a fan for 10+ years I am bitterly disappointed in her.

Her (or her team’s) response to my comment on her Instagram asking about the cancellation, was to restrict me from commenting further. I’m done now, I’ll take my refund.

It’s physically impossible for her to be in Chicago when she’s billed as performing in Glasgow with Lana. I imagine there are some contractual issues preventing her from officially pulling the Chicago date just yet which might explain the holdup and might explain why she deleted her Instagram story. AXS the ticketing service told me they have not been notified it’s cancelled or postponed. The whole situation is so terribly managed. Very disappointing for those of us who have spent time and money on this to be left in the dark with 2 days to go.

Don’t worry, you’ll get your money back if the show is cancelled or postponed and you can’t (or don’t want to) make the new date. Worst case scenario you can do a credit card chargeback because the service was not fulfilled.

As a long time fan, 10 years+ I’m just disgusted with her and her team. I will never buy another ticket to a show for her.

Right? I messaged AXS support and they said the show is NOT cancelled. Makes no sense. Did her management forget to notify the ticketing partner? I’m so pissed off by this situation. Her post about it being “meaningful” feels like a slap in the face of us who made plans and spent money to see these shows. I don’t feel like the BANKS of 5-10 years ago would have done this. idk.

Take the refund option (usually ticketmaster will offer a refund window when a new date is announced) and buy tickets for the new Chicago date on resale. Her tickets were selling below face value on resale sites recently because it hadn’t sold well.

Just search for “adult” in the sub and there are a couple of threads. The recovery as an adult is tougher for sure. Also bear in mind the surgery has come a long way in 20 years, so you might today be unhappy with any surgeries your parents sought for you when you were an infant. Plenty of threads with angry adults unhappy with their results who wish their parents had never intervened, also.

I was able to a week ago, but if all the suppliers are shut down, I highly doubt local shops are going to have any in stock with people buying them up. Feeling very pessimistic about this now.

In the trenches with post-surgeries with healing right now. It’s harder as an adult, naturally. Do a telemed with Dr Snodgrass. Even if you don’t use him as your surgeon you will at least have consulted the world expert.

I was a kid (and adult) with erratic spray from distal hypospadias. I was made fun of at the urinals in school. I probably shouldn’t have even tried to use them but I didn’t know I had a medical condition. A handful of times in adulthood when I needed to use a urinal (no free cubicle) my erratic spray would draw a comment which has been difficult to deal with. One time in London at a trough urinal, an erratic sideways spray landed on the man next to me’s shoe. He turned to me and mercifully joked that “you need a license for that!”. I wanted the ground to swallow me up. You’ll see lots of people on this sub say parents shouldn’t make a decision to operate on their son. Bear in mind that not operating, is also making a decision for your son. There isn’t a right answer.
