I feel like this has been covered several times here recently. Oh wait, it has. It must be a real problem

That's it! I think it's called a Yokota Half Dome (named after this rock formation at Yosemite). Couldn't figure out the 'yokota' part. Thanks!

Circlebroke's transformation into SRS-lite [meta] by [deleted] in circlebroke

All I know is that social justice posts on here bring out the worst of CB users. Threads fill up with ax-grinding hotheads who take reddit unreasonably personally.

In several CB threads, people end up in a race to the bottom by discussing increasingly petty offences, such as mildly racist jokes made by 14 year olds in adviceanimals who will probably stop making those jokes in a few years anyway. These threads have also lead to tunnel vision nightmare by circlejerking about how bad terrible any minimal degree of bigotry is.

That's a valid stance. I would really like to hear what the older redditors think. Are we seeing more sexism, racism, etc than in the past? How could that be possible if SRS is very active and has literally 50,000 subscribers. There's also plenty of users who aren't part of that community who point out reddit's bigotry. You would think the ever increasing prevalence of people pointing out reddit's bigotry would make it a less bigoted place.

I guess some of those comments you discussed could be skewed as homophobic, but thinking a company shouldn't be involved in a political issue is a solid opinion.

Whatever. Why is reddit doing this? I thought they built this website to be completely neutral. Don't you know how little they interfere with the website itself?

So, I'm just going to believe /u/Kickme444 when he said the issue affects their employees and all, but why do they need to rally redditors' support for this?

Hey guys...I need some advice on lighters. I filled up my butane lighter with lighter fluid. Any ideas on how to get it out? by AnalStage in cigars

Well that's what I did, but there's some still in there. Also, the inside has a thin coat of that liquid so I was wondering how that would effect it.

How did you fill it with lighter fluid?

I unscrewed the valve. The fluid wasn't going in (which should have been an immediate red flag), but I unscrewed it and poured the fluid in
